I wouldn’t say Steinam is a hypocrite for getting married. She didn’t NEED him, but she loved him. She was against the “traditional” marriage that subjugated women. Her marriage to Be was different.

I find this list laughable.
An Ad hominem is a pretty foolish thing to do. A list detailing the ideological hypocrisies would be a lot better than a list detailing how some people I couldn’t care less about are hypocrites

Teddy Kennedy’s opposition of building wind turbines in Nantucket Sound, near his house wasn’t nearly as self serving as it sounds. There’s a load of reasons supported by fishermen and area environmentalists to oppose the wind turbines that are also seen as giant blender whose blades mash up migrating birds. Plus it would be private ownership. And whi gets to develop the oceans? The issue is not black and white.
And as I recall Steinmen married Bale so he could stay in the country. The world is too complex to make such calls.

I really enjoy this list and there are 2 reasons why in my opinion : No.9, Rosie O’ Donnell on her talk show back in the 90′s was once quoted as saying that mathematics had no reason to be taught in schools because its just plainly useless. O.K. Rosie. No Mathematics ?? Then no architecture, no engineering, no music, no economic benefits or crisis, etc., etc. and on one of her episodes, she had the singer Sting on as her guest and she said that I “really enjoyed you in the movie ‘Buster’ “, to which Sting replied with an unbelievable look on his face and said “that wasn’t me, that was Phil Collins” after that episode, I completely shunned myself from ever watching it again. And the other one No.7, Gloria Steinham. The great and legendary actress Mae West who was a woman of wit and abundant charm once was quoted as saying “I think that marriage is a great institution, but I am not ready for an institution yet !!” Perhaps Ms. Steinham should have stuck to that quote as Mae West died never having been married.
