In order for Canada to be closer destination for immigrants than the U.S., they’d have to be coming from f*cking Greenland !!!

You do realise that the vast majority of immigrants to the U.S. are Mexican, and the Mexican border is one side of the U.S. and the Canadian border is thousands of kilometres away on the opposite side of the U.S. mainland?

Actually, you probably don’t, as you’ve never looked at a map of the real world.

I can see were most of the stereo-types come from actually. The media in other countries picks out the bad in our country and leaves out the good. I’m American, I live in Vermont, despite being such a young country, Vermont is very rich in culture and considered to be one of the most beautiful on Earth. (And contrary to popular belief, Vermont is more then just a large dairy farm). Maybe someday people will learn to look at what it is really about then just what they see on the surface.

I am from the USA, though I am Native American, Irish, and English. I think that all countries are great in their own way(s). To be honest, I think that the US could change a wee bit. Every country has diffrent problems, but we also have some of the same problems. No country has found a cure for cancer, diabetes, or aids, yet, have they? No. But if countries work together, we can find cures! All countries should be working together and…I don’t know…changing the world for the better…protecting wildlife (everywhere)…creating more efficient technology…making mechical advantages…ect. But if every country works together, we can create a better world. An efficient one. A healthier one. Because we all make 1 race. The human race.

I think Michael is right, everyone born in the American continent can be called American so you should call yourself US citizen.
So you consider yourself a center of the world? Do you even think you are a civilized society?
Do a little research and you will find that the US have invaded several countries in the world, violating many civil rights, that the US is responsible for the 25% of the global pollution, that you are the only country in the world that used an atomic bomb, plus you probably are the worlds biggest producer of weapons in the world,
Sorry, I forgot that you also are the worlds biggest drugs consumer.
Without intention of being rude, the person who wrote it is a completely imbecile!
I’m mexican and I don’t actually hate the US but I think you don’t have many reasons to be proud of.
