I’ve read, by several sources, that fresh urine is pretty well sterile upon leaving the body, whereas feces are about 40-50% bacteria. In fact, urine is slightly less sterile if you have not washed yourself since your last defecation as some of the fecal bacteria will have settled on your genital area from when you pooped.
Some prenatal classes even encourage parents to wash their babies after they poop in their diaper because such close, enclosed exposure to the feces has a small risk of leading to urinary tract infections in infants.
