Christ did exist but the Christianity we now know was invented by Paul, who never met or came near Christ and later even broke off with Peter. Paul's church later prosecuted the actual followers of Christ in Israel, first known as the Nazarenes and later as the "heretic" Ebionites. All four of the gospels in the New Testament were written years after Christ and none of them by any of his disciples... If anyone is really interested, should do some serious research.

Sorry, only got to comment 64 before deciding to have my two cents worth.

You (dis-including sane people who argue with reason) are all absolute idiots. Whether there is or isn't a God is entirely irrelevant, as is whether the Bible is a moral guide or a purely historical text.

There is as much evidence for God existing as there is for things like science and evolution. If you believe that there are teeny things nobody can see or feel which float about and make up everything in existence then great, if you believe there is some kind of entity which created everything on Earth then fine. Lots of people believe both, doesn't make either wrong or right.

I find Christians to generally be much more pleasant than atheists, simply because they are (and I stress the generally) often much less self-righteous and arrogant. At least they have faith in something.

Sorry for writing a long and hideously serious comment, I just think you should all rip off your nappies and stop fighting over bits of lego.

The lego was metaphorical.

(p.s. please stop grouping agnostics with atheists, we are much cooler ;))

@archiealt: you're retarded

"You are all very silly people. Please go back to school."

lolirony

"No. I am right, you are wrong. We can be as certain that there is no god as we can that the earth revolves around the sun."

I would absolutely *love* to see this evidence. Any evidence.

"And to the person who said, and i’m paraphrasing here, ‘what evidence would atheists need to believe in god?’

Any. We would need any evidence. But there is none. There is no evidence to suggest any of the mumbo jumbo you believe in is even remotely true."

You seem quite sure there is no God, why would you need evidence if you're sure there isn't a God? You're a fucking retard.

I'm an atheist and even I don't agree with your stupid, half-ass comments. Please, get educated on the subject of religion before you go off spouting random shit. Cool, you don't like religion, you're an atheist. Big. Fucking. Deal. You just want attention. I can see you're also going through a rebellious stage and there isn't any point in arguing with you.

I's very possible that some of the items on this list did not exist at all. Many only were ever refered to in text and whether or not Jebus himself was real is debatable.
Noah's Ark is definately nothing more than a story.

Not a bad list though.

More like top 10 mysteries of the Judeo-Christian belief.

Great list, I hope those who don't believe in these be less militant and more mature about it. The intelligent-comedian act getting tiresome.

Ok, I give up. Where does it say that Jesus admits to a typo again? The New Testament wasn't even written until After his death and resurrection.
