There is another far more gruesome version of the Columbian Necktie. It involves cutting off the genitals of a man then slitting his throat and pushing the testicles into the slit in the throat and leaving the remainder to hang like a tie.

This version was quite popular in gang warfare over drugs.

In the ninth piece there may be abit of a mistake, it says the only recorded crushing in American history was of Giles Corey during the Salem Witch Hunts. This is not the case, Giles Corey is a fictional character in a play called ‘The Crucible’ set during Salem Witch Hunts written when many Americans were being accused of being Communists. The Author wrote this play as he himself was accused…
