The blood soup can also be found in the Philippines and it is called ‘dinuguan’ which literally means ‘bloodied’. It is, however, made from pork blood and pork organs or pork meat. Well, it’s more like stew than soup but the description and appearance are the same.

So in Jamaica where i live, there is a soup called Manish water. I don’t eat it but its traditional for house warming, funerals and weddings. Its made out of a goats intestines and head (including the eyes and brain). Additonally, we have Goat balls soup which is to increase libido (blech). Go goats!!!!!

Ah! The oh so famous Soup #5. Very popular in the Philippines. Increases *****ual libido and stamina, thickens and increases semen and sperm production, more intense *****s, and gives longer, harder *****s. Some claim it makes a man’s nasty bits bigger. It’s a manly man’s soup! I believe you forgot to include that the soup base is mainly bull sperm/semen and I think they also include the prostate gland. And sometimes it comes from a horse!

Bird’s nest soup. Another way of saying bird spit soup. You can keep that, thanks. And why ruin the bird’s 35 days of nest building to serve your own selfish ends? There’s plenty of other sh*t to make soup with, leave the damn birds’ homes alone.

As for the bat soup? Twisted and inhumane. Boiling it alive? We call that sick and torturous if it’s done to humans, why not animals? They can feel the pain just as much as we do. Same thing w/lobster (And I tried lobster before. Nothing special about it. I’m sure we’d survive w/out eating it or by actually killing it before boiling it).

Fact is, human beings are not the “intelligent” species we claim to be. Common sense escapes us.

Vietnamese blood soup certainly tops it all, it is not even cooked, just a pure cold duck’s blood garnish with peanuts, Wow !! penis soup doesn’t sounds so bad now.
What happen if a customer found a fly in his soup, will he like ” hmm gross !! there is a fly in my blood soup !! I would like to speak with the manager !!

on menudo there are other versions of this popular soup incuding a “Sonoran white broth version” and a version from Ecuador that uses beef heartts. these two types wereshown on “Bizzare Foods-Arizona” & “Bizzare Foods-Ecuador”.

My mother comes from a mostly Polish background, and her grandmother was a Polish immigrant. She was an excellent cook, and one of my mother’s childhood favorites that her Grandma Jo made was affectionately dubbed “chocolate soup”, for its broth’s dark color and rich, sweetish taste. She was later horrified to learn that her chocolate soup was actually more like blood soup- it uses duck blood. Still, it’s supposedly delicious (being a vegetarian I wouldn’t know), which was confirmed when she again had some at a Polish restaurant just a couple weeks ago.
