Nah dude, the bands he put arent even death metal, they are all deathcore, yes they fucking suck I agree, but modern death metal is actually really sick. Necrophagist, obscura, decrepit birth, pyscroptic, etc. The guy who made this list is extremely misinformed.

I would just like to point out that oceano and all the other "modern death metal bands" are no death metal, they are ALL deathcore, please re-write that part of the list, put bands like necrophagist, obscura, decrepit birth, children of bodom, etc. if you want to put REAL modern death metal. Also speed metal is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY different than cybergrind, cybergrind is... Idk how to explain it, I dont really like it but whatever thats not the point, speed metal is motorhead, venom, anvil etc.Whoever wrote this list obviously isnt aware of what death metal, speed metal and cybergrind is.

This list is fucking terrible. It does have a couple of obscure and interesting genres, but some of the flaws are so bad it's offense. Cybergrind is an offshoot of grindcore and is not even slightly reminiscent of speed metal and "political rap" isn't a genre any more than "Talkin bout bitches rap" is (atypical lyrical content doesn't merit a new genre name--it's a style). Considering that this list is supposed to be comprised of "extreme" genres, chill should be replaced by drone, death metal should be replaced by (or at least mention) tech death, "speed metal" should be replaced by grindcore or at least have the information corrected, hardcore should be replaced by speedcore and should make mention of splittercore and extratone, and Aphex Twin's entry should have AT LEAST named some of the genres he's composed in like breakcore and drill n bass. Additionally, it would have been appropriate to give noise, harsh noise, or HNW an entry and grindcore should have its own entry with cybergrind, noisegrind, goregrind, porngrind, and gorenoise under it. I would have also, personally, liked to see mention of flashcore, but it's so obscure that I wouldn't expect it and certainly don't hold it against you.

I do appreciate what you were trying to do, here (spread knowledge and appreciation of under appreciated and lesser known styles of music), but you should have been more academic in your presentation--there are a number of grammatical errors, a serious lack of objective information, and a number of strait-up falsehoods, not to mention a large number of deserving genres not even mentioned. I'm sorry that I called your list "fucking terrible", but it really upsets me when people who don't know enough about what's what pose as authorities on the subject and spread their misinformation to others. I probably get too worked up over this topic, but it's something I've very passionate about and I'm getting really sick of people spreading guesses, personal bias, and confusion.
