The black teeth thing was practiced in a few cultures. In medieval Russia, noblewomen not only dyed their teeth black, but the whites of their eyes too.

Actually, Apollo 11 did not technically land with 20 seconds of fuel left. They landed with 20 seconds to spare before they would have had to abort the landing. The 20 seconds is how long they had left before the fuel was too low for them to escape moon orbit again. And the 20 seconds isn’t necessarily due to the exactness of NASA’s planning as an early commenter thought, but rather because Neil Armstrong scrapped the original landing site and used up a large portion of the fuel looking for a second acceptable landing spot.

The bag pipes used in Scotland (Highland Bagpipes) are NOT the same pipes from Ireland. The bag pipes were thought to have originated from Africa, more specifically Egypt.

The most traditional material for the chanter and drones (the pipes on the instrument) is African Blackwood.
