There are many things I agree that should be on the list that you did do, how ever there are things I dont agree with. Wether or not someone would choose to put America's founding ( which I would do to its world wide affect on commerce, political developement and freedoms) I dont understand why the Magna Carta (1215) isnt included. The Magna Carta provide many of the ideas that we included in our constitution and was one of the first modern attempts at class equality.

Also I too wonder your problem with Locke or Hobbes. I would think that one would give them some repespect. Here's why, many of our modern ideas of freedom particularly the First Amendment ( which I imagine you will use to defend you opinion against them) came from these two men. The Founding Fathers were profoundly influenced by the writings and works of these two men. When you look at our Constituion you can clearly see Locke's influence, also on the Declaration of Independence. They were for the idea of Democracy and a more equal government. The later developement of the country and government was due to influences of others. If you look at the fore mentioned doctuments you see their political ideas in action and pure. I dont see why to be again them unless perhaps you dont like Capitalism or Freedom. I believe eveyone should have the right to have their own opinion I also believe that respect should be given to those who gave them that right.

Hmm... I believe the most important moment in history was when agriculture was invented via types of grasses (I believe maize is a type of grass) and domestication of animals likes horses, goats, donkeys, camels, etc. Would be more important because it created faster travel and established trade routes and whatnot. That was how human-kind began assimilating itself into an intelligent society.
