The woman in cloverfield didn’t explode. She was shot. If you watch on the far side of the frame you can see some one raise a gun barrel towards her and hear a discharge (that may or may not sound like a quick snap explosion). Not to mention that everyone seemed pretty *****ed off at the army for a few moments after.

one thing to remember about the plausibility of the science in movies like Jurrasic park…IT”S A FRIKKIN’ MOVIE! It’s called “suspension of disbelief” for a reason. Sit down, shut off the logic centers and ENJOY THE SHOW.

A number of movies on this list were horrible and absolute torture to watch (or even begin watching).

“Maximum Overdrive” was meant to be Stephen King’s “moron movie”. I agree, horrible movie, but AC/DC contributed a fine soundtrack. Memorable line: “I hate those f***in” trucks”.

Re: “Night Of The Lepus”. It seems whenever Stuart Whitman turned his hand to motion picture sci-fi, it blew up in his face. Remember the pilot telefilm “City Beneath The Sea”? Basically a “Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea” rewrite.

Intriguing list; subpar subject matter.
