		<description><![CDATA[The Grail is not a physical object or a bloodline. The story evolved from earlier stories. Prior to being a Christian symbol it was a pagan one. The story was heavily influenced by Welsh mythology and is strongly associated with North Wales. It is linked to Castell Dinas Bran near Llangollen and nearby Valle Crucis Abbey which was a Cistercian monastery during the Middle Ages. During the Middle Ages there were strong ties between Wales and the area of France where the &quot;original&quot; story as we would call it, was written down. We know that two grail romances written in French were translated into Welsh and brought to Valle Crucis abbey nearly 200 years before Malory published Le Morte d&#039;Arthur.]]></description>
