Asbestos being removed from my buidilng am I in danger?My apartment buidilng is going through a major 2-year renovation. They have decided to let us tenants stay living in the buidilng while the work is being done. Currently, they are removing asbestos; they had to bring in this special team and they blocked off the areas with plywood and orange tarps. They put up signs warning us of lung cancer and asbestos exposure, and to not go into the sectioned-off areas.My only concern is that the front door of my apartment is literally 10 feet away from one of these asbestos areas. There are 10 floors in all, and each floor is being gutted 3 separate times with presumed asbestos removal every time. So that’s a total of 30 separate asbestos disturbances within the time-frame of 2 years. And one is happening, as aforementioned, 10 feet away from my door.I’m sure they’re following proper safety procedures, but am I in any danger of being exposed? I have asthma so I feel a bit more susceptible. I am not showing any symptoms of asbestos poisoning yet. I have heard that quite often with asbestos removal, the entire buidilng will be encapsulated before being torn down to prevent asbestos leaking out into the open air. I have also heard that some other major apartment buidilng renovations similar to mine have had to temporarily relocate some tenants to ensure no exposure.Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Asbestos found during isucranne repair, what is the impact to me ?I own the leasehold on a two bedroom flat. A leak from the flat above has led to a buildings isucranne claim. The builders started this morning and have found suspected asbestos. The removal of this, to complete the repair, is covered. Asbestos was not mentioned in any documentation when I bought the property April 2006. My question is what impact does this have on my ability to sell the flat and if the freeholder converted this flat in 1995 do I have any comeback to them ?Thanks
