Yip!
I get intruiged when ppl say don't go or don't do something, I can't help but get curious!
I think all us humans do that – it is probably the root of the saying "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence" If you can't have it – you want it
True! But sometimes it involves breaking the law… Lol!
My son was in Greece two weeks ago and went to Delphi only to find the oracle's lair is off limits. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But he snuck in anyway – sent me a picture his girlfriend took from a distance of him standing on it. More power to him.
Yeah. Here's something fun to do while you listen. Go to Wikipedia and read along as they read for for word about every subject…
Or. read along as he reads word for word. I blame my keyboard. Also my addiction to alcohol.
I hate the way that guy keeps pronouncing Moscow as "Moss-cow"
I'm still angry that you can only subscribe to the podcast through iTunes >:(
I second that. I'm just not getting an iPod, I'm not a trendy tit who loves looking hip but hates decent audio quality. And seriously, ufck iTunes.
i cant get it, it isnt on itunes (UK)
I use the UK itunes store and I can get it. Try searching for "top 10 lists" or "listverse" on the itunes store and see if it shows up.
I'm subscribed and it's not showing when i refresh
Though they are just podcasts, i'm glad you put these out later so the people in different time zones can still read these thing a little early. Usually, in my time zone, the new lists come out at about 3 a.m and by then I'm asleep.
Sorry to say, but the host's voice.. is really irritating. That's why I avoid podcasts all together -__-"
club 33 sucks
see, if you are dating an l.a. girl, and her rich-ass dad has a membership, you may wind up there at some point
the primary thing i found obnoxious is: the mystery and myth surrounding it. if you are to go, anyone that knows you are going tries to give you tips as to when to get there, how to hold yourself, what to wear, and on and on and on. now, as a teenager, this was all interesting, the first couple times you hear the tips and anecdotes. after a while, it turns rediculous, having to hear the same thing over and over. it comes across as pompous — and i know all peple arent like this, but i talked to 15 peple and they all said the same *****.
the menu is ok — overpriced for sure.
the truth is, that your experience is dictated by the build up. and like i said — ok enough.
similiar cuisine — the french laundry in northern cali — the restaurant at the awhanee hotel in yosemite valley — the masion lacour in baton rouge — the eiffel tower restaurant in the tower at the paris casino in vegas — commander's palace in new orleans — listing them all would be dumb — there are tons better.
at this point, if people ask me my top 15 restaurants, 33 isnt mentioned. i'd rather be pleasently surprised by something ive never heard of.
and if you dont care, and want to wait it out on the impossibly long wait list frater mentioned, you can hang that up too. the waiting list closed, and jamie's source just had not been updated — another member told me that a little while back, and it does appear to be true.
i agree . its just an excuse for insecure arrogant people to feel better than others . I went to the launch of the new aston martin the other day in SA . That was the most rich people Ive ever seen in one place at the same time ever , they sold 3 cars each valued at around R20 million . It was crazy , they served Chinese style prawns and all this other crap , but the local Tong Lok kitchen around the corner from me serves much better food plus their food doesn't come on a stick . The only cool thing was the unlimited 12 yr old scotch and Cuban cigars , it was also cool meeting our local officials and TV personalities drunk and coked out of their mind stumbling aroung the mens room asking for directions to the toilet. good times .
Are you a South African politician or anyone famous or Top Billing?
I've never heard of the other 9 places but I've been in area 51 in Nevada.
@ number 5: How do YOU pronounce Moscow?
i dont like the podcasts
podcasts suck
Menwith hill. Its a military base. Like every other military base. You cant go on there unless you work there, or are in the military. Hardly deserving of #1
I don't mind listening to the podcast, but it would be nice if we had the choice to read it also.
But interesting list
You're new here, aren't you?
meh very boring at least use some video
the man who speaks its jfrater?
@Silverano , nope i saw the people from top billing there but I got the tickets through an acquaintance .
I like the podcasts. I prefer them more then regular lists
