I would also like to add as to why the American Film Institute voted “Citizen Kane” as the greatest movie ever made when it didn’t win for Best Picture. I have seen it and it left me totally dry as in my opinion its far from the best movie that I have ever seen.

Here is an irony or anecdote, if you will, about a movie that won for Best Picture”. The year of 1942. The Best Picture that year ? “YANKEE Doodle Dandy” starring James Cagney. But another movie that was nominated for Best Picture that year ? “The Pride Of The YANKEES”, starring Gary Cooper. Another thing is how in the world did Alfred Hitch*****NEVER win an Academy for Best Director is beyond me. “Psycho” (1960) should have gotten the nod for Best Picture that year and wasn’t even nominated, instead “The Apartment” starring Jack Lemmon won. And speaking of Hitch*****movies, Did Bernard Hermann ever win an Academy award for best Musical Score. I mean for God’s Sake there should be an Academy Award especially made for the Music of “Psycho”.
