Shirow: Thanks for this great posting. You raise the irmoptant issues that I’ve been wondering about, namely, how 2 Chinese citizens can continue to work in Japan (not to mention Taiwan later this year) given the cultural and historical barriers. These 2 young ladies are simply remarkable if for nothing else than being able to absorb he language so quickly. To be able to learn the complex dance routines and songs on top of that is just SUGOI. I do wish that management could utilize them more, namely with a single or b-side of a Mandarin original song, or better yet, a translation of an old Momusu tune (e.g., Morning Coffee) with the other Musumes backing them up. Perhaps something like this could be done prior to the upcoming concert in Taiwan.

In regard to #9, "The cello scrotum hoax", I noticed the editor of the BMJ had this to say: "We frown on misconduct and medical fraud is taken very seriously. But in this case I hope I am right in saying that no harm has been done."

Now had Elaine Murphy been male, I bet a month's pay the response would have been vastly different. A male doctor would have been drummed out of the medical profession and probably defrocked for submitting fraudulent information to a respected medical journal.

But because it was a woman that committed the fraud, and because this particular act of fraud highlighted an aspect of the feminist agenda, that's fine and funny and perfectly ok, right?

Just one more example of the double standards and hypocrisy of today's man-hating, feminist-dominated society.
