I hate bad grammar etc. as much as the next man, but if you're going to criticise a writer for it at least proof-read your own writing first. 'Ones' didn't need an apostrophe, and two of your last three sentences are missing question marks. Leave the (unwarranted - the article is perfectly readable) moaning to the people who know what they're talking about L-A Simard.

You completely forgot the most famous work that came out of this: symphOny no. 8!
shostakovich was in the city during the siege. When the German said they were going to take the city on a certain date the city symphony, or what was left of it, preformed shostakovich's symphony no 8 and they put it on loud speakers all across the city.
It was the 'remember the Alamo, of ww2.

I though the USA was a capitalist country. I had no idea that they followed the Roman empire example of hoarding all the goods and then distributing/trading it (that would make it communist/socialist). When Obama goes out and says he has signed a trade agreement with, say, Britain, does that mean Hilary Clinton goes on the next plane filled with goods to trade with that country? Whenever a trade agreement is signed, it is the companies that trade not the government.

But it is not surprising that you try to split hairs...when it is in American interest or dealing with countries that put American interests first...it is always the individual companies or the "rouge element" that is the culprit...but when it is countries who put their interests, rather than America's, first..it is always the entire country that belongs to the "Axis of Evil". May be you found the answer to be "funny" and "bad" but the important thing here is that it is the right answer :)

Also, can I just say thank you to those who offered to proof read or edit in future, although I can assure you that the final draft was of a much higher quality. Saying that, it did take me longer to edit than it did write, so maybe I will take you up on that offer! If anybody wants to read my final draft, you can reply to the list's entry on Listverse's Facebook page and I will send it on to you. Maybe you will enjoy it more the second time around. :)
