Welcome to the New Look List Universe
Published on February 4, 2008 - 126 Comments
As regular readers will have noticed, the site has now been redesigned. Because of the high cost of this kind of work, I have done the redesign myself - this means we have no new features - just the new look. As part of the redesign I have removed some ads and moved the others around in order to make them fit better on the site. The end result is, I think, a lot cleaner.
Shop Open for Business
We have now opened our merchandising shop. Feel free to browse our items and see whether there is anything you would like. The shop takes Paypal and all major credit cards.
Please let me know what types of merchandise you would like to buy and whether you want it with or without (or both) the URL (ie, just the logo, or logo and text).
The new color scheme should make the site appear more credible to first time readers and by using blue for the links it should be easier to use.
If you have any complaints or problems, please tell us in the comments here.

Dangorironhide said:
What was it about the old site that made it easier to navigate? I have not removed any of the navigation options - I have just put popular lists and most frequent commenters on the right - enabling me to make it a double column rather than triple column. The aim is that I will have more ability to put larger images, etc. in each list.
Could the problem be that it is new and needs getting used to?
2. dangorironhide - February 4th, 2008 at 5:31 am
For the new look: I like the older on better. I think it looked a lot cleaner (maybe because it was white), and I think the sidebar to the right is a bit too cluttered now the popular lists & top commenters is there as well. The old layout may have been simple, but it was also effective.
As for merch, I’d go for black t-shirts with the logo and text (that’s just what I’d buy). People aren’t going to know what it’s for if you just put the logo
3. dangorironhide - February 4th, 2008 at 5:35 am
jfrater: that’s probably it, but I think it looks a lot like a blog from blogspot or some site like that rather than a proper website
4. bwugi - February 4th, 2008 at 5:38 am
i never thought the logo would go nice with blue
5. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 5:41 am
bwugi: are you saying that it does or doesn’t?
dangorironhide: okay - What do you think the design is missing that a proper website would have?
6. dangorironhide - February 4th, 2008 at 5:44 am
I liked in the old one though how the lists were in the centre of the screen, rather than having half the screen blue, so I think the empty space… I know it’s not good to have everything cluttered but I think theres too much of it at one side of the screen.
7. bwugi - February 4th, 2008 at 5:46 am
it DOES look good, but as for me, however it has this “formal/industrial” look like a dentists’ forum.. na nvm
8. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 5:46 am
okay - so the blue makes the space stand out more than before? The width of the site is the same - I took away the left panel and used its space for the articles - to give them more width
9. dangorironhide - February 4th, 2008 at 5:54 am
It’s not the width of the site that’s bothering me, just the fact that it’s aligned to the left. On my moniter theres another right columns width worth of empty space, which I think would be better used across the other side of the articles.
10. Ravyn - February 4th, 2008 at 5:56 am
I want to be able to click on the “Recent Comments”. Can I still do that somewhere else or is the list of 200 comments gone?
11. Jeremy Foster - February 4th, 2008 at 5:57 am
Good job, J!
I like the new look, very straight and uncluttered (or, as ‘bwugi’ put it: “formal/industrial”). Just a matter of personal taste, anyhow …
–
Jeremy
12. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 5:59 am
Ravyn: I have put it back for you
Jeremy: Thanks
13. FelixMG - February 4th, 2008 at 6:06 am
Nice work, Jfrater.
I only notice this now, but i had associated the burgundy coloured letters with this site. It seems so odd now that everything is written in blue… having said this, i imagine we’ll adjust perfectly. Thank you for all the entertainment, and keep writing those lists.
14. dangorironhide - February 4th, 2008 at 6:08 am
J: sorry for being an ass & complaining about the new layout, as long as you keep writing your awesome lists it won’t bother me too much what the site looks like!
15. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 6:10 am
FelixMG: Thanks
I think that everyone will adjust after reading a few lists in the new colors - I must confess that even I am finding it odd
I wanted to go ahead with the redesign ASAP so I could start with the merchandise. As time goes on I will tweak and add stuff if it is needed - or if people ask
dangorironhide: heh that’s okay - it is useful for me to hear what everyone thinks!
16. skipps - February 4th, 2008 at 6:11 am
Nice redesign, jfrater! However, like dangorironhide, I liked how the lists were being placed in the centre of the screen. But I think I’ll gradually get used to this layout anyway.
By the way, why does it say “Copyright (c) 1997-1998″ at the bottom of the page? Still living in the last decade?
17. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 6:13 am
skipps: thanks for pointing that out - obviously I was
I need to get out more! I have fixed it now.
18. FelixMG - February 4th, 2008 at 6:16 am
I must add, the new layout is effective and appealing (lists on the left, more polished look). People browsing this site at work are less likely to attract unwanted attention. And that’s a good thing!
19. DiscHuker - February 4th, 2008 at 6:19 am
jayfray: regardless of what anyone thinks about the new design, for me it needs some getting used to, thank you so much for the time and effort you put into this. i have no idea if this is your full time job, it it pays you enough for it to be that or if this is just a hobby that you are really good at. anyway, thanks and keep up the good work.
20. JwJwBean - February 4th, 2008 at 6:22 am
I like it, but it will be hard getting used to the lists on the left instead of center. I can’t believe how fast you got this up. Way to go on your hard work.
21. Rob - February 4th, 2008 at 6:24 am
“I have to admit it’s getting better,
getting better all the time,
(it can’t any worse)”
All change is good, even if bad because it leads to more change which is always good.
22. Gryphon - February 4th, 2008 at 6:27 am
I like the new colour scheme and i defn like the new logo but prefer the more basic option with only the 10 white dots.
I prefered the tri-column. it seemed more balanced though i could just be picky. three things i would like to see. One is the search bar back. two the colour scheme of the login and register isnt really visible.
the third things is right when the website first started
it had toggle buttons and it was a really great way to check out all the lists.
thanks though as i still really enjoy the site.
23. me - February 4th, 2008 at 6:30 am
Not surebout the new look yet might take some gettin use to but hey im here for the lists not the layout
24. DanOhh - February 4th, 2008 at 6:35 am
Me, Likey.
25. Mystern - February 4th, 2008 at 6:37 am
It’s so aggravating. I am trying to find a way to express how I feel about the new look of the site and I can’t.
Well I like it. But I liked the old one too. The old one seemed more “fun” and this one seems more professional. It almost feels to me like the site is growing up . . . if that makes sense.
About the only thing I am having trouble getting used to is the column that is supposed to be on the left, is now on the right. I’m sure I’ll live (barely), but it’s going to take more than a bit of getting used to.
I need a Listverse coffee mug. Actually I need an entire set of Listverse dishes. The Listverse set. Serving the top 10.
26. Cathysferret - February 4th, 2008 at 6:41 am
Blue’s not bad… but I definitely liked the design of the new logo in the orange… it was hot! Anyway… I’d get a mug or a t-shirt with the logo and name on it since this is the first site I check everyday!!
27. Anthony - February 4th, 2008 at 6:50 am
I like it, but I hate it for taking the old one away.
Oh well, I’m sure once I get used to this I’ll learn to love it. Great job Jamie!
28. sue - February 4th, 2008 at 6:51 am
I like the new look, blue’s my favourite colour:-)
29. smac - February 4th, 2008 at 7:19 am
New things scare me. I’m going to go curl up in the corner now.
30. smac - February 4th, 2008 at 7:19 am
Seriously, though, I like the new look. I was just trying to be funny in my previous post and failed.
31. Mystern - February 4th, 2008 at 7:24 am
One thing that I really don’t like about the new look is that you can’t click on the name of the person who posted the comment to see their profile.
32. Juggz - February 4th, 2008 at 7:25 am
I thought i logged onto the wrong site lol, I do like the new look, good job jamie!
33. Mystern - February 4th, 2008 at 7:25 am
Damn html code . . .
34. TMo - February 4th, 2008 at 7:30 am
I like it, but… change the blue to green! Green’s the best.
35. heavybison - February 4th, 2008 at 7:30 am
Looks more like a house, newly painted!! I can almost smell the fresh paint…
36. heavybison - February 4th, 2008 at 7:31 am
JF: Btw, did u change the fonts for the comments or is it just my imagination?
37. corinthian0430 - February 4th, 2008 at 7:41 am
i like the new look
38. SocialButterfly - February 4th, 2008 at 7:44 am
I love the colour scheme jfrater! The layout will take some getting used to but I think this will work out better in the end.
Just one question though… I thought you had forums??
39. fishing4monkeys - February 4th, 2008 at 8:07 am
I agree with dangorironhide on this one…don’t get me wrong though this site was and still is an amazing site but I like the old colors better, they just seemed to fit this sites atmosphere in my opinion. I also liked the center alignment of lists better but like I said, this site is amazing and as long as you keep writing these great lists that you always do i’ll keep comming back
40. chemical_echo - February 4th, 2008 at 8:13 am
I enjoy the new colours, and don’t mind the layout all that much. The only thing that bothers me is how far down the “popular lists” list is. Anytime I wanted to see a random list I could just go right to the top and click random list, now I have to look for it because I keep scrolling right past it.
41. Arabella - February 4th, 2008 at 8:26 am
I love it much more than the other layout!!
42. Harsha - February 4th, 2008 at 8:55 am
Colours are ok but keep the list in the centre !!
43. mimi29 - February 4th, 2008 at 8:55 am
when i looked at the site this morning, i thought the old look was better but after a while i said to myself, the site just needs some getting use to.
44. fishing4monkeys - February 4th, 2008 at 8:58 am
Harsha:
I agree! I didn’t like the new colors at first but after looking at it for a bit I actually really like them but they would work better with the old layout…
45. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 8:59 am
heavybison: I did modify the comments fonts - because we have much more room for the comments I have made the font a little larger.
46. spirito.aspro - February 4th, 2008 at 9:11 am
usually I’m a lurker through rss feeds so i don’t bother too much of the site’s layout… but If you permit, it’s a little too much formal, like it’d be a company site, anyway what matters is the site’s contents and that is always interesting. Sorry for my english.
47. Rey - February 4th, 2008 at 9:18 am
Great redesign regardless.
48. Taos - February 4th, 2008 at 9:20 am
seeing it in action, the new design does look good
49. heavybison - February 4th, 2008 at 9:22 am
I like that old font!!!!!
50. bridget - February 4th, 2008 at 9:26 am
going to take a little getting used to the new look- but overall I like it.
51. longball - February 4th, 2008 at 9:45 am
Hmmm…i liked the old orangey color better. maybe combine the blue and orange. idk. i like it enough to keep reading the lists daily.
52. newsong - February 4th, 2008 at 9:54 am
=( I hate blue websites. So now I can’t read the lists via the RSS feed because the pics don’t show and I only get one of the things on the list, and I have to come to the site. The organization is just annoying because it’s different I suspect.
Plus, you used the truly hideous version of the logo. In blue.
*sigh*
53. phunniemee - February 4th, 2008 at 9:54 am
Here’s me being picky:
The front page doesn’t “feel” like the front page anymore. I think the banner ad right under the header bar cheapens the site; perhaps there could be NO banner ad on the front page? It’s fine to have on the list pages, though.
Other things: For readability AND aesthetic purposes, there ought to be a little more padding on the left side. It will give the page balance.
That said, I’m pretty cool with the blue. I liked the orange, but the blue looks good, too.
54. flgh - February 4th, 2008 at 9:54 am
I remembered the textbox that allowed searching for lists…What happened to it, Jamie?
Remember, if something ain’t broken, there’s no need to fix it till it is. One Vista is enough.
55. thedeafguy - February 4th, 2008 at 9:54 am
i’m fine with this new layout. no gripes.
56. downhighway61 - February 4th, 2008 at 10:03 am
i’m such a nerd… i really want a list universe hoodie.
and the tote. and maybe a magnet and mug.
the blue is nice, kind of mellow. but it does feel a but unbalanced. there is a lot of empty space on the right. i shrank my browser to fit the page, and that just bothered me even more.
not enough for me to stop reading though!
57. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 10:08 am
downhighway61: so go buy them: https://www.cafepress.com/listverse
58. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 10:09 am
flgh: you are right - it was an oversight that I removed it - I will incorporate it back in
59. Cyn - February 4th, 2008 at 10:11 am
My Wish List

60. poptart - February 4th, 2008 at 10:24 am
It isn’t the blue that’s bothering me, or really that everything is on the left…it’s the top bar. It does look very “dentist” –sterile, corporate. It’s either too non-fun or its amateur-ish, I can’t decide. No offense, I’m sure you put a lot of work into it, but…
Maybe it would be better if there was a picture…or something?
Idk. I’ll just ignore it, obvi, and continue reading lists. Soon the old layout will fade from memory and I’ll miss it less and less, haha.
I do kinda miss the orange though…
61. downhighway61 - February 4th, 2008 at 10:31 am
i planned on it when my husband got home from work!
62. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 10:31 am
poptart: it is funny you would mention that - today I was thinking about whether I should incorporate some kind of watermark background to the top bar. I will think on it some more.
63. Kelsi - February 4th, 2008 at 10:32 am
I kinda miss the orange too, but this is pretty snazzy. I would also like to see some kind of bar on the left to give both some padding and center the actual list content, as well as give my eye that familiar default over there. Good job with everything though, and I too am amazed that you got this up so fast! You are truly tireless and wonderful, JF. =)
64. wally - February 4th, 2008 at 10:36 am
i think the site is great, love the new logo, looks modern and mysterious. can’t open the pictures in your merchandise shop though
65. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 10:58 am
wally: that happened to me - using Safari by any chance? It works fine in firefox and camino but not Safari (my main browser).
66. BenGerrior - February 4th, 2008 at 11:06 am
Just wondering…
Is there still a search bar? Am I just missing it?
67. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 11:10 am
BenGerrior: I have to add it back - I forgot to
I will put it back tomorrow.
68. BenGerrior - February 4th, 2008 at 11:12 am
Lovely
And I just found the lists grouped by type. Thats a good feature
69. Andrew - February 4th, 2008 at 11:14 am
I respect all the work you’ve done with the site- and I respect the changes you’ve tried to make… but mate, this looks errr not as good as the setup you had before.
Again, not trying to give you a hard time- I know you had to do everything yourself and such. I just feel the site took a step back. It just looks less professional.
Cheers,
Andrew
ps- thanks for all the work you do with the site.
70. toolnut - February 4th, 2008 at 12:08 pm
jfrater: I love it, its classic and clean. Very nice!
71. chershey - February 4th, 2008 at 12:44 pm
Although not everyone is viewing this page on a gaming monitor, half of my browser is blank space with this layout. If it were centered the empty space would at least be cut in half on either side…
72. NoPunyNerd - February 4th, 2008 at 12:57 pm
Jamie, good job and I’m sure we’ll all get used to the new look sooner or later
I think the site might be easier to “read” if the blue column (latest lists, comments, etc.) was on the left side of the page. When the page comes up, the first thing I see is a full page of google text ads … if listverse content appeared on the left-hand side of the page, I think you’d be hearing less of the “it looks corporate/commercial/somehow wrong” comments. Right now, it’s not necessarily obvious (especially to first-time visitors) that you need to scroll down … it kind of looks like you’ve landed on an advertising site. In any case, thanks for a great site!
73. roxy - February 4th, 2008 at 1:24 pm
oh! i really like the new look! the logo is sooo great… I’m certainly glad because I liked it from the start. You need to make some baby-doll tees or sexy tank tops, Jamie-not any lil cheesy teddy bears! anyways, looks good. Love the blue.
74. dvhann - February 4th, 2008 at 1:44 pm
i love the new site.
however, on different news, i just found a site that has the EXACT same idea as Listverse, and has the EXACT SAME OLD DESIGN.
Same style with lists in the centre, and the previous comments thingy on the side, and has the exact same set up of comments under a list as this site.
http://funhigh.com/
go there.
75. SocialButterfly - February 4th, 2008 at 1:51 pm
HOLY CRAP!! I just looked at the fun high website… that is seriously f*cked up!!
Umm… is this allowed?? It doesn’t look like it’s copyrighted.
76. Chica - February 4th, 2008 at 1:59 pm
I personally love this look, you kept it simple like the old layout, great job J!
About what was just commented about, I imagine the template is available all over the web, the list idea, is well, everyone does lists. I wouldn’t worry about it too much, because it just can’t compete with here, ya know.
I looked at the products available, and I think the logo is crooked on the coffee mug, it could just be me, but it looks crooked.
I would love it if you could center this layout, I am running at 1280×800 and 1600+ res on both my computers, and in both it’s off to the left. Smaller resolutions won’t see this, because it will be centered in their screen because of the size, if that makes sense.
77. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 2:05 pm
dvhann: that is why I needed to do a new site - the old design was an opensource template which is free for all - I needed to do my own - and now I have.
78. Blogball - February 4th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
That ripoff site has a list called top 10 Things that look like other things. How ironic.
79. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 2:12 pm
Blogball: hahaha
80. toolnut - February 4th, 2008 at 2:18 pm
dvhann: The similarities on that fun high website are insane. But, they don’t do it nearly as well as JFrater. Lame!!!
81. crazyeddie - February 4th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
Well…funhigh is registered to:
Branisa Beric (skywalkeer78@gmail.com)
if one was so inclinded to send out an email….
82. Jeremy - February 4th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
eh the old look was better
83. Llamee - February 4th, 2008 at 2:34 pm
Yeah, I love the site. It is really great, and I love the lists. Alas, I must show disapproval with the new look. The sidebar is too cluttered as many have said, and the color change was fine, but the formatting should stay the same. Thanks for everything.
84. dan231 - February 4th, 2008 at 2:39 pm
on the sidebar bein too cluttered, maybe add a separator line to help add definition?
85. Sarah - February 4th, 2008 at 2:51 pm
So, you finally did away with the hot links. That’s okay even though I really liked them.
JF you do such a good job with the site and I applaud all of your efforts. Thank you for taking time out of your vacation, life, and sanity to keep all of us readers happy. I truly appreciate all your hard work, and the work of the contributors.
Thank you!
86. avi - February 4th, 2008 at 3:22 pm
i liked the old look better
87. Scott - February 4th, 2008 at 3:30 pm
First of thank you for the lists- love them! I like the blue, and the right side nav bar I can get used to, but the random list link being in the middle of the page is driving me crazy, like chemical_echo I keep scrolling past it, and that by far is the link I use the most.
88. DarkJesus - February 4th, 2008 at 3:48 pm
I agree with all the people who want the site centred. It just looks wrong on a widescreen monitor.
89. sam - February 4th, 2008 at 5:10 pm
I’ve been reading for months, but never felt the need to comment. Don’t much care what the site looks like as long as clean and easy to navigate. I like the lists but love the comments more. (I’ve always been attracted to people smarter than me:) and this site seems to attract thoughtful, intelligent, fun people. Kudos to Jfrater for providing the content and being a savvy moderator.
90. James - February 4th, 2008 at 5:16 pm
I like the new look, keep up the good work Jfrater.
91. 20Fan20 - February 4th, 2008 at 5:37 pm
Very Nice Work!
92. Chica - February 4th, 2008 at 5:52 pm
Perhaps you could have the guy do something like this for the logo:
http://media5.dropshots.com/ph.....175040.jpg
93. GTA - February 4th, 2008 at 6:05 pm
I don’t think this site can look any better. Awesome Job
94. nlightndwun - February 4th, 2008 at 6:09 pm
how goes it people. this is my first comment although i have been enjoyin the list from almost the beggining. i have chosen this post to break my silence so that i could say just one thing. WTF PEOPLE yall need to simmer down its not that much different from the old one and i like blue better anyway. and the logo looks awesome. WAY TO BE JFRATER
95. goof_ball - February 4th, 2008 at 6:15 pm
I do like the blue color scheme better than the orange/rust color scheme. As merchandise goes, I wouldn’t buy it, but I think it should have “The List Universe” above the logo and “listverse.com” under and a little bit smaller.
96. goof_ball - February 4th, 2008 at 6:26 pm
Look at this website. It’s a listverse knockoff. The old design that is.
http://funhigh.com/
97. SUN - February 4th, 2008 at 6:37 pm
I am such a sucker for blue!
The new logo I didnt dislike but I much nicer in the blue shade plus the color of the whole site.
I really love the new format. Im very visual and that its so concise and graphic makes it mentally user friendly to me.
KUDOS!!!
98. Angelina - February 4th, 2008 at 6:43 pm
goof_ball: I think that website is run by FJrater!?!
99. Monkey - February 4th, 2008 at 8:09 pm
I like the new layout, and I like the new logo a lot, but I miss the old colors… It could just be a personal preference though… Red is my favorite color. All in all, great job JF!
100. D Holmes - February 4th, 2008 at 8:50 pm
Hey, JFrater,I have a question.
Can the messenger bag come in a different color other than yellow?
Or is that all Cafe Press will allow?
101. Diogenes - February 4th, 2008 at 9:00 pm
like a clean shave.
102. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 11:32 pm
D Holmes: that is the only color Cafe Press has at present
103. JwJwBean - February 4th, 2008 at 11:34 pm
What are you doing up at this hour? oh wait. I keep forgetting the time difference. I love the merchandise. Now I have to save my pennies and order some.
104. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 11:36 pm
TWEAK: I have now put the View a Random List and View All Lists directly beneath the Latest Lists so it is in the top part of the screen - that should help those of you who are used to scrolling right to the top to get it. Remember, it is also in the box at the bottom of every list
105. jfrater - February 4th, 2008 at 11:38 pm
Chica: I like it and will add it today
Thanks.
JwJwBean: it is 6:30am now
I have a lot of tweaks to make to the site today so I am getting started early.
106. JwJwBean - February 4th, 2008 at 11:51 pm
Well I am off to bed. It is now midnight here. Good luck with the tweeks. I hope you remember the search bar. Many are missing it.
107. Chica - February 5th, 2008 at 1:23 am
Right on, looks like you got it up so I am going to remove it from my album.

Its funny J that you say you have made the fonts bigger in the comments because I was feeling that I liked the new layout apart from the fact that I now need my glasses to read it. Great job though and I’ll live with the glasses.

Chica: is that okay? I hope I didn’t tread on toes using it!
NZSpringy: really? Can you send me a screen shot of your browser with a page open?

The changes to the banner look great!!! This new looks has really grown on me.

fishing4monkeys: I am glad to hear it
I think it will only take a week for the majority of regulars to get used to it.

Thanks J I’ll stick with the glasses for now. Not that I’m not open to learning new things but you’re not here to teach me and I’d rather you’d spend your time on new lists:)
115. Reea - February 5th, 2008 at 4:15 am
I like the new look….it’s sophisticated
116. karenjoyce - February 5th, 2008 at 5:40 am
It is too plain
117. Chica - February 5th, 2008 at 8:06 am
Nope that’s what I put it out there for J!

I didn’t need any time to get used to the new look, I think it is MUCH better. I was never a fan of the original colors though. I’ve been addicted to this site for at least 3 months, so it is not like I wasn’t used to the old look, but I think this is great. I am not crazy about how many ads you have to scroll past to read a post or list, but the bills have to be paid somehow. Can’t really get annoyed about a feature that is probably paying for the upgrades needed for an increasingly popular site.
Jfrater, I’m sure you hope that someday the site will have the capacity not to freak out when fox links it

A merchandise that contains a list’s titles could be neat. Or just the winner.
in example:
ListVerse Says
The Top BaddAss Ancient Weapon
is
Scythed Chariot
Then again I guess this is too specific.
120. TMo - February 6th, 2008 at 9:30 am
Yo, I like that, Ozhan. That’s badass.
121. jfrater - February 6th, 2008 at 9:33 am
Ozhan: I am definitely planning to incorporate some of the lists in to the merchandise
122. Mystern - February 6th, 2008 at 10:23 am
Hey Jamie! If I’m reading this correctly we passed the 30k comment mark and I don’t remember you mentioning it at all. Am I just up in the night?
123. kyle91223 - February 6th, 2008 at 3:52 pm
this isn’t a list at all
124. james ried - February 6th, 2008 at 5:11 pm
That ad for those talking emoticons really bothers me. It hurts to move your mouse over then each time and have to listen to that annoying “hellloooooo”
just sayin jfrater…..

The redesign is pretty nice. The layout is okay, but the blue just makes me happy.
I would really like to see a page where I can see the lists for each month. I realize it’s all on the archive page, but I don’t come to listverse everyday and rely on the “latest posts” to see what’s going on recently. But, sometimes I can’t see all the updates because the latest posts list doesn’t go back that far and I’m not really interested in hunting through the archives page to find a title I haven’t read yet. I hope that makes sense…?
