known trivia. Every day we present a new unique list in any one of our fifteen categories,
from art & literature to science & nature.
Listverse has been featured on BBC Radio, Radio Scotland, Alabama Radio, BBC Television World News International, and in the New York Times. We regularly feature on the front pages of social networking sites Fark and Reddit.

Jamie Frater, Founder

Jamie Frater was born in New Zealand. He did postgraduate studies at the Royal College
of Music in London, after which, due to an insatiable desire to share fascinating, obscure,
and bizarre facts, he created Listverse. He currently divides his time between managing
and writing for Listverse, studying Latin, scholastic philosophy and physics, and running two other blogs: Cogitz, and The Escoffier Project.
Judy Richardson, Site Administratration

Happily married, 48 year old mother of 4 boys. Proudly Canadian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, opinionated and interested in everything. Well almost everything - will give a pass on Pop Music. A little late on board the Listverse bandwagon - part way into the first year. Admin style? As little as possible; our community does a great job of self-policing.
Kate Borrell, Content Specialist

Kate is a marketing specialist and a retired performer. Some of the various roles she has held include diplomatic media consultant, professional actor and singer, public speaker, website consultant and developer, promotions manager and marketing planner. Kate enjoys food, wine, baking, socializing like a butterfly and playing the ukulele like a club-fisted, rhythmically-challenged baboon. Most of all Kate enjoys laughing.
Joanna Milne, Content Editor

Joanna was lovingly reared on a small gooseberry patch in Southern England. After
marrying her very own bomb disposal engineer, she travelled the world following her man. No longer able to carry her house on her back, she settled near Toronto in Canada. She
spends her days working in the pharmaceutical industry, and her nights trolling Listverse, seeking enlightenment.
Aimee Counts, Content Moderation

Aimee (AKA oouchan) currently lives in the USA. She first came to the listverse site about 2 years ago when searching for pictures of sci-fi worlds and hasn't left since. She is the mother of a goth teenager (needs all the support you can send!) and loves to read and debate when not tending her farm on Facebook.
Tim Hoff, Content Moderation

Tim Hoff (AKA timothyjames) is a student at Marquette University in Wisconsin, USA, where he studies Secondary Education and English. When not perusing the internet, Tim can usually be found reading, writing, watching movies, or engaging in music some way. In the future, Tim hopes to continue on to graduate school to obtain a Master’s degree and, eventually, a Ph.D. in Linguistics.
Dan Gore, Forum Moderation

Dangorironhide is currently a student of physics at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. An avid musician, he plays the bassoon in many orchestras and ensemble around the university, and both the guitar and piano in his spare time. He spends a bit too much time gaming, either through online shooters, single player strategy games, or pen-and-paper role playing games, and plays Team Fortress 2 competitively.
