I like these video lists, but the guy has a very hard to listen to voice and facial expression which makes it almost unwatchable.
Nice job Paul and your editing techniques see to get better with each entry. The only thing I missed was seeing a countdown displayed on the screen, or you saying “coming in at number 5 etc.”
Without that feature, the stories on the list seem to all run together and made it a little confusing IMHO.
Other than that it was great. Also I had to laugh at “oh thank you, it’s a Robert Stack specialty” comment.

Fun stuff. I’d heard all these before, but it’s still neat to hear about. Decent way with editing, more creative use of footage than I would’ve thought. But you could do a bit better with pacing– some of the stories ran together, kinda hard to follow. Fun stuff, though.

Have to agree with #16 jardojo I couldn’t make it past the opening minute the voiceover was appalling. I’m sorry Paulb but you’re not even close to being half as funny as you think you are.

Unlike some of those up there, I think you do a great job with these (although while that voice impression was recognizeable, it was still … horrible *shudder*). Seeing video clips with the lists just makes them all the better. One thing you could do to improve them is perhaps do some more research on the topics and present the new information along with the old, as right now it seems (at least to me) that you’re just reading the list, and not really giving us any more information.
Oh, and if you ever do one of the other of the Unsolved Mysteries lists, put up the Friedrich Valentich recording, or at least someone reading a transcription of it, it’s horrifying.
He actually sounds sarcastic,as if he were mocking someone or something.But since his first video Ive always thought his voice was not suited at all.I would have watched the video in mute if I could.Oh well….

To those critics out there, submit your own video before you go judging the attempts of others. It’s easy to anonymously criticise people through comments…exposing yourself and your work to the masses takes far larger cohones

I really would have loved to watch this, but that voice was SOOO utterly annoying that I had to stop 20% into the clip. With all due respect to the intention – maybe use a friend who has a better voice to narrate your projects.
Great videocast. And the cool voice only added to the mysteries. I was born almost the same time that Elizabeth Short was killed, and was raised in that part of LA. So, I grew up hearing the stories, theories, etc.
You embarrass yourself by trying to either mimmick or lampoon Robert Stack. I have seen the original Unsolved Mysteries, and you are not funny or clever at all. Look at ALL of the comments stating how much your voice is disliked. Don’t bother posting any more with this voice, most of us will never watch them. You are a fool.
