10 Extraordinary Tales of Extraordinary Twins
Published on September 9, 2008 - 71 Comments
The world has always had a curiosity of the unique bond that is linked with of twins. The collection of stories below are 10 interesting accounts from recent years associated with twin births. This list is not meant to be a historical look at twins, but rather some unusual recent stories - therefore it excludes people like the first siamese twins.

Linda and Terry Jamison are twins from the United States who claim to have predicted the September 11th attacks two years ahead of time. On November 2, 1999, they claimed that through an automatic writing process there would be a terrorist attack on the federal government and the World Trade Center in 2001. The actual quote is, “we are seeing various terrorist attacks on federal government and also the New York Trade Center, the World Trade Center”. The twins did not specify the time or indicate who would be responsible. The Jamison twins also predicted that John F. Kennedy Jr. would die by plane crash. However it has been pointed out that the Jamison twins are frequently incorrect. In December 2003, they incorrectly predicted that Saddam Hussein would be killed by U.S troops and that Pope John Paul II would die in June 2004.
70 year old Omkari Panwar and her husband 77 from India already have two adult daughters, and five grandchildren. Male children are especially important among India’s Hindus. Only a male heir can carry out funeral rites and female infanticide remains a chronic problem, largely because the dowry system, though banned, is commonly practiced. Their male child will also be able to work the families land. To pay for the IVF treatment vital to producing a male heir to the family’s smallholdings, they sold their buffalos, mortgaged their land, spent their life savings and took out a credit card loan. Mrs. Panwar gave birth to twins a boy and girl by emergency Caesarean section The twins were born a month premature and weighed 2lb each but are healthy according to doctors.
Alicia and Jasmin were born to a mother of Jamaican-English descent and a father of German descent. Alicia’s eyes are brown and her hair is dark. Jasmin’s eyes are blue and her hair is white. Genetic expert’s explanation for this very unusual occurrence is the mother has a mixture of genes that determines skin color. When egg cells are formed in the mother, a random selection of genes will be allocated to each egg. The set of chromosomes in each egg cell is unique. In most cases a mixed-race woman’s eggs will be a mixture of genes for both black and white skin. In very rare cases the eggs may contain genes for predominantly one skin color. In this case, the mother released two such eggs - one with predominantly dark pigmentation genes and one with predominantly fair genes.

Even Though the idea of a special connection between identical twins is often myth and legend little research has been done in this field. The book ‘Twin Telepathy” claims an overwhelming body of evidence indicating that there is indeed a special connection. One of the experiments involved 8-year-old Richard Powles who was put in a soundproof room in front of a bucket filled with ice-cold water. On command, Richard plunged his arm into the ice cold water, giving a gasp as he did so. In another room well out of sight or earshot, his identical twin brother Damien was wired up to a polygraph. A polygraph expert monitored his respiration, abdominal muscles, pulse and galvanic skin response (sweat on the hands). All Damien had to do was sit quietly and “tune in” to his brother’s feelings. At the exact moment of Richard’s sharp intake of breath caused by the freezing water, there was a sudden blip on the line monitoring Damien’s respiration rate. In another experiment, Richard was asked to open a cardboard box; in it was a huge rubber snake that jumped out at him. This, too, was instantly picked up by his twin as the pulse line on the chart clearly indicated. The book also concludes there are three especially telepathy-prone groups - mothers and newborn babies, dogs and their owners, and identical twins. Of these, it is the twins who pick up the signal at full strength most often, provided that they are in the right states of mind. The image above is a stock photo as no pictures could be found of Richard and Damien.

Tamara and Adriana were born in Guadalajara Mexico and were separated at birth and raised by different adoptive parents. Tamara was adopted by a Jewish couple who lived close to Central park in Manhattan. Adriana was adopted by a Roman Catholic family and grew up near Long Island just 20 miles away from where Tamara lived. Neither knew she had a twin sister. Tamara’s adoptive mother also did not know but Adriana’s adoptive mother knew but kept her twin a secret from her daughter. When the twins were 20 years old they were constantly getting confused by the other sister’s friends. Eventually mutual friends put two and two together and arranged for them to meet. Despite different upbringings, Tamara and Adriana discovered they had very lead similar lives. The twins’ adoptive fathers both died of cancer, Adriana plays the clarinet and Tamara plays the sax and they both love listening to R&B and hip hop. They also both wanted to be vets when they grew up. The reunited twins and their widowed moms have now formed a close bond.

June and Jennifer grew up in Britain. The twin sisters were inseparable, and had speech impediments which made it very hard for them to mix in with other children. The Gibbons also were the only black children in their school, and faced racism. Their language eventually became unintelligible to outsiders and spoke to no one except each other and their little sister. They would complete each other’s sentences and could communicate with no more than facial expressions. In their early teens they were given two diaries as Christmas gifts. This inspired them to send away for a mail order course in creative writing, and each wrote several novels that were published. It is theorized that because they were so desperate for recognition and fame and publicity for their books, the girls committed a number of petty crimes including arson. June & Jennifer were committed to a mental health hospital where they remained for 14 years. Because of the medications given to them in the hospital they lost most of their interest in creative writing. The girls apparently had an agreement that if one died, the other must begin to speak and live a normal life. During their stay in the hospital, they began to believe that it was necessary for one twin to die. Jennifer eventually agreed to be the sacrifice. Within hours after their release at the age of 30 Jennifer died of sudden inflammation of the heart. To this day, Jennifer’s death remains a mystery. After loosing her twin, June was able to speak with other people and contemplates resuming to her writing career.
Catalin and Valentin from Romania are twins with different years of birth. Catalin was born in December (2 months premature). The doctors were able to wait and deliver her second son Valentin two months later in February. Romanian doctors attributed the time lag in the births to a rare congenital condition that gave the twins mother two uteruses due to a congenital malformation that occurred when she was herself an embryo in her mother’s womb. Approximately one in every 50,000 women has a double uterus but the hospital believes this was the first case where a woman had become pregnant at the same time in both wombs and given birth nearly two months apart. The two brothers were both healthy when they were released from the hospital on the same day.

Wilma and Willem Stuart, a Dutch couple had been unsuccessfully trying to conceive for years and decided to try IVF. They soon learned they would be parents of twins. When the two boys were born, Koen had blue eyes, dark hair and pink skin, Tuen had dark eyes dark hair and brown skin. A DNA test revealed that Koen was the Stuarts child but Tuen was not Willem’s. The report of the investigation has not been made public, but speculation is that a piece of lab equipment called a pipette, like a large eyedropper, had been used twice, causing another man’s sperm to be mixed with Willem’s. The hospital called it a “deeply regrettable mistake”. The Stuarts remembered there was a black couple in the waiting room the same day during the IVF process. The hospital located the man and confirmed he was Tuen’s biological father. Although he was under no obligation to meet his son he never knew he had, he did when Koen was 18 months old. The biological father only looked at him from a distance and didn’t try to claim him and was comfortable that the Stuarts loved the child, and let them continue raising him.
Many know and have followed the story of the Hensel twins. They are now 18 and recently graduated from high school. Only four known sets of conjoined twins who share an undivided torso and two legs have ever survived into adulthood. By coordinating their efforts, they have been able to enjoy many hobbies and sports including volleyball, kickball, swimming, basketball, and cycling. Two years ago the girls passed their driver test and had to pass the test twice because each girl received a driver’s license. They also play the piano and are avid computer users. Abigail and Brittany expect to date, get married and have children. They hope that by providing some information about themselves they will be able to lead fairly typical lives.
Elyse and Paula were born to a woman with schizophrenia and were put up for adoption. Child psychologist Dr Viola Bernard, a consultant to the adoption agency believed twins should be separated to improve their psychological development so Elyse and Paula were sent to different families. Elyse knew that they had been adopted but neither one knew they were twins. When Elyse turned 33 she decided to contact the New York State Adoption Information Registry to look for her birth mother. It was then that she also discovered she had a twin. About six months later the twins were reunited. What makes this story even more incredible is it was also discovered that Elyse Schein and Paula Bernstein were part of a secret nature versus nurture study by Dr Neubauer and his colleague Dr Viola Bernard. Neubauer was a noted child psychiatrist and studied five sets of twins and one set of triplets who were all deliberately separated at birth. The adoptive families would travel separately to the center once a month for 12 years for IQ tests and speech analysis. Researchers would also visit their homes and film the children playing. The adoptive parents were told they were part of a child development study but were kept in the dark about the twin/ triplet aspect. The set of triplets and two other sets of twins in the study have also been reunited, but it is not known if the remaining two sets of twins have. The controversial study has not been published, but will be in 2066, when most of the participants will likely be dead.

Abosolutely intriguing…
Twins have always fascinated me.
It’s interesting about the 3 groups prone to telepathic connections - dogs and their owners is a bit wierd, but I suppose it depends to which extent you take the word “telepathic”.
Well done on the list!
Keep up the good work guys!
2. astraya - September 10th, 2008 at 2:49 am
Naturally conceived twins with different fathers? A woman releases two eggs. She has sex with two men within a short space of time. The sperm of each man fertilizes one egg.
No 2 is way spooky. All power to them.
3. Hill - September 10th, 2008 at 2:49 am
Nice list!
This site gets me through the day at work!
Thanks!
4. sharlu - September 10th, 2008 at 3:04 am
wow this list is actualy pretty cool! . . with the whole telepathy thing . . me and my sister know what the other is thinking most of the time, and almost always finish of each others sentenses but we are not twins . . soo i’m thinking it has to do with a bond you grow, which is what twin’s do . . but yes this list is in my top 10 faves
5. emmstein - September 10th, 2008 at 3:21 am
I have, like, hundreds of questions for #2 right now..
6. thematic - September 10th, 2008 at 3:29 am
Cool list.
Reminds me of a couple of girl twins I was at school with, one day I was chatting with one and the subject of telepathy came up, although admitting that she didnt really think it was possible she did admit that on occasion they would get up and go to the shop or go out together yet they never seemed to remember having a conversation about their actions. The twin I spoke with tried to explain that they “just seem to know” what the other is thinking.
Freaked me out thats for sure.
7. warningdontreadthis - September 10th, 2008 at 3:41 am
My sisters are twins. The only thing that is extraordinary about them is their stupidity…
8. astraya - September 10th, 2008 at 4:06 am
I’ve been thinking about #2 as I’ve been doing other things. Two lots of questions for starters.
1) Did their parents and the doctors know about this in advance through ultrasound, or was this a complete surprise for everyone?
2) Do they marry two husbands or one? If two, then what do husband 2 and woman 2 do while husband 1 is making love to half of woman 2’s body? If there is a baby, then who is the mother? (The father can be ascertained.)
9. Eve - September 10th, 2008 at 4:14 am
Great list, thank you!
“…The hospital located the man and confirmed he was Tuen’s biological father. Although he was under no obligation to meet his son he never knew he had, he did when Koen was 18 months old…” Please, correct the mistake in the second sentence-the dark-skinned boy is named Tuen, I believe.
Just a thought about Number 2-if they have a child, which name will be put on the birth certificate-Abigail or Brittany’s ?

when i get pregnant i want to have twins..normal twins in noramel delivery..just a simple life.. this is a complicated list..but unbelievable..amazing..
12. Drogo - September 10th, 2008 at 5:00 am
It’s funny, but just the other day I was thinking of twins that I have known.
In about second grade, my school decided to separate twin girls so they would be more independent of each other. You could hear the one sister crying and screaming, “I want my sister!” over and over from way down the hall. The girl in my classroom jumped up and said “I should go to my sister.” the teacher very much agreed.
I knew identical twin brothers in grade school. For some unknown reason, One of them seemed to hate his brother with a vengeance, constantly sneering and insulting him whenever they were together. I don’t know what happened in their home life, but at school they never got along and the one always acted like he despised his identical twin.
13. romerozombie - September 10th, 2008 at 5:00 am
What about me? I think I’m extraordinary for having not killed my annoying twin sister yet.
14. diogenes - September 10th, 2008 at 5:35 am
Wel wel wel.
xcellent. xcellent.
All going according to my plans…
Muhahaha.
oh. There was a paperback in a bookstore I failed to get a few years ago. It was on June and Jennifer Gibbons. Thanks, I couldn’t remember their names but had read a tid bit here and there about them before. Thanks for the info. Is the book called “The Silent Twins”? I’ve been trying to find it since.
15. MT - September 10th, 2008 at 5:51 am
A great list. I am fascinated by Abigail and Brittany (#2). I’ve seen them on TV several times. I hope they live a long time and have children. That will be a whole different story. But,I can’t help but wonder how much money they could have made back in the old days of sideshow freaks.
Also, June and Jennifer (#5) used to have violent fights with each other as children, almost killing each other. Sometimes they walked in step with each other in perfect unison. When one stopped so did the other. It was believed they shared a psychic bond.
16. dischuker - September 10th, 2008 at 5:52 am
comment #7 made me laugh out loud a little.
so, for #4 of the list…are they not really twins? the extraordinary thing is that the mother had two functioning uteruses, right? and that they both were nursing a healthy baby, just two months apart.
wow.
17. HandyMan - September 10th, 2008 at 6:48 am
for number 8… sorry to start a race issue, but if the mom or the dad perfer the white baby over the darker one, visa versa, is it considered racist?
-i cry MURDERRR for number 5, it seems jennifer got the worst end of that deal..
18. ChristineM - September 10th, 2008 at 6:51 am
Is the part about having white hair in number 8 a typo? Sounds like villi age of the damned baby!
astraya,
I’m curious about that as well, if they would marry two different people and what not
19. Callie - September 10th, 2008 at 7:00 am
There’s several specials about the twins in #2, for all those wondering. I think the last one was about them taking the driving test. All the shows are really interesting, and some of your questions (sex, dating) are addressed.

I remember reading about the Hensel twins years ago, but I’m surprised to see they grew up. I thought there was some problems with their body. I can’t get my head around it though, does each twin have control over the body? Are they split down the middle with one controlling the right and the other the left? Or can they both control any part of the body at any given time? do they both need to eat? I’m freakin out now man. I also vaguely remember them having a tiny little malformed arm sticking out of their chest, but it looks like in that photo its gone.
22. robneiderman - September 10th, 2008 at 7:32 am
In regards to #2, and who the mother would be if they had a baby, is there a way to tell if…um…the vagina…belongs(?) to one of them? If so, would only one of them enjoy sex? Ugh, and if so, how much would it suck to be the other one?! Like when Fry’s head was attached to Amy’s body on Futurama.
23. Schmaulie - September 10th, 2008 at 8:02 am
@ Rusty: Thank buddy, interesting stuff. To be quite honest, I always thought my cat was controlling my mind and making me do things I didn’t want to do…
*runs off to feed cat, clean litter tray and hunt for mice in the garden*
24. Brickhouse - September 10th, 2008 at 8:18 am
I was wondering about the Hensel twins recently - but I couldn’t remember their name. Thanks for that. I just Googled them and found this photo, which I think is a better picture… Thanks for the great list!

I know a set of triplets that were conceived at 2 different times, the boy was conceived first, then a month later the twin girls were conceived. It was very evident in their development stages when they were under a year old, but now has leveled out.
27. dischuker - September 10th, 2008 at 10:23 am
per wikipedia concerning the conjoined twins…
Each of the twins manages one side of their conjoined body and they are uncannily ambidextrous and coordinated in both their arms and legs when both hands or both legs are required. By coordinating their efforts, they are able to walk, run and ride a bicycle normally — all tasks that they learned at a normal speed. They each write with their corresponding hand. They can together type on a computer keyboard at a normal speed. Their sense of touch is partitioned each to their own body half which shades off at the midsagittal plane such that there is a small amount of overlap at their midline.
28. romerozombie - September 10th, 2008 at 11:05 am
I just thought of something Peter Griffin said. “Now both of you split like Siamese twins… then one of you die.”
29. nyashleym - September 10th, 2008 at 11:17 am
This is the first comment I have ever posted, even though I have been an avid reader for a while now. I just want to say, you get me through my work day.
I am a twin myself, and have to say that my sister and I don’t experience telepathy, and never have. We attend the Twin Convention in Twinsburg, Ohio every year and have met a ton of other twins, all of which say they don’t have telepathy.
Number five is the saddest thing I have ever heard, I don’t know what I would do without my sister.
30. Kreachure - September 10th, 2008 at 12:02 pm
Cool list! All quite interesting (except for #10 which is like, they’re psychics who happen to be twins… meh)
For those interested on knowing more about the conjoined twins Abigail and Brittany Hensel, check out their Wikipedia page:

Good list - but not many responses to this one. I only get the list at +- 2-30pm , SA time and see that the first responses are posted up by 4-00 in your side of the world so the gap is += 10 hrs. Who is older by 10 hrs. you guys or me ?
I always failed geogh. at school - but ja if someeone can let me know it will make my day
32. JayArr - September 10th, 2008 at 12:33 pm
Smurff - the International Date Line starts in the Pacific ocean… the closer you are to that line, going from the west to the east, the ‘earlier’ in the day you are.
33. JayArr - September 10th, 2008 at 12:34 pm
In other words… New Zealand lives their day earlier than India, which lives their day before Africa, then North America… etc…
34. Gigi - September 10th, 2008 at 12:34 pm
That two-headed girl is freaky!!!
35. Hillery - September 10th, 2008 at 2:06 pm
So weird. I was looking up June and Jennifer Gibbons the other day, for no good reason whatsoever. I also looked up Cyril and Stewart Marcus (notable omissions!) on the same day, but there’s not nearly as much on them as there should be. You’d think identical Manhattan gynecologists who followed one another into madness would get a mention, but no…
Yup…
36. Brans - September 10th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
Great list. Here’s my nomination for a super-bonus - A woman, herself a fraternal twin, gave birth to quadruplets who were 2 sets of identical twins on her 34th birthday.
You can read about it here: http://www.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH.....index.html
Amazing stuff!
37. Heroajax - September 10th, 2008 at 3:05 pm
I have to say I sort of agree with 21. I watched the docuvideo hoping it would aleviate … well, something I’m feeling and don’t know what it is. Nope. Just worse now. Is anyone else at all a little weirded out by the conjoined twins? Just a bit? At all? Anyone? They seem nice enough an all, but … so many social thoughts. One husband or two? Or none? One salary or two? gaaaaaa. can’t think anymore.
38. Brans - September 10th, 2008 at 3:08 pm
After some quick research and viewing the family’s site, here’s the gist of the story I mentioned:
The Morris quadruplets were born to Geana and Kurt Morris of Glenolden, Pennsylvania. Born August 13th, 2004, their mother’s 34th birthday, the quads are even more remarkable because they are comprised of 2 sets of identical twins - a set of identical boys and a set of identical girls.
The couple also had a two year old son, Sammy, who was one of triplets at conception (the identical twins did not make it through the 12th week).
Morris was implanted with two embryos in January, 2004, with the hope of carrying one to term. Dr. Andrew Gerson, who delivered the babies, put the odds of such an occurrence at about one in 1 million quadruplet births. The odds of having quadruplets alone are around 1 in 572,000.
Each of the newborns weighed between 2 and 3 pounds and are still doing well.
39. Brans - September 10th, 2008 at 3:18 pm
Um…I guess my first comment didn’t post. My bad. Well, there’s my bonus twin weirdness for you all!
40. goof_ball - September 10th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
wow. interesting.
41. diogenes - September 10th, 2008 at 4:03 pm
Somehow I knew old Rupert Sheldrake would be mentioned in the comments. Don’t ask me how I knew…. I just did.
Muhahahahah
your sick Daniel Wallin. I ban you from this universe. begone demon!…
Even though I know your just being you, hopefully they wont be deprived of sex in their lives.
They seem very happy in all the pictures i’ve seen.
Anybody hear about Bhagat’s twin? For 36 years Sanju Bhagat’s belly grew bigger and bigger. The good doctors thought it a tumor and were all set to operate and remove when they discovered that it was his twin brother inside! Growing as a parasite, Fetus in fetu, sucking off Sanju’s blood supply through the imbilical cord.
Welcome to the seadyside of Twintown.
42. pankhudi - September 10th, 2008 at 4:15 pm
#2 is like weird. Do both the gals have separate reproductive organs? If not, then how can they marry different guyz? I mean, both guyz will make love with the same girl. And what the other gal will do during that period?
Weird.
I am so very thankful to god that i have to deal with one stupid brother only.
43. astraya - September 10th, 2008 at 4:17 pm
Re 10: I am about as skeptical about them as I am about any pyschics. No date, no method, no perpetrator? Since the first WTC attack, another attack was on the cards. ANY government building of any major country is a target.
I’m physic: I predict that there will be a suicide attack on a mosque in Iraq
44. astraya - September 10th, 2008 at 4:23 pm
Damn. Sent off into cyberspace as I was still typing.
I predict that the coming USA presidential election will be bitter and divisive. I predict that Randall will call someone names.
Re 2: Some more moral dilemmas -
If one twin wants to make love, and the other doesn’t, what’s the situation? If someone rapes them, is it one crime or two? If someone shoots one in the head, and she dies, will the other one necessarily die? What about through the heart? (They’ve got two, but a joined circulation system.)
A few years ago I read about two women in England who do EVERYTHING together: they live together, and sleep in a double bed, they always wear the same clothes, they catch the same train to very similar jobs in two different government departments, they ring each other many times each day, they travel home together, go out together and go on holidays together.
45. Jessnz - September 10th, 2008 at 5:05 pm
What about the everswindell twins?
46. Dizo - September 10th, 2008 at 6:17 pm
I’m a twin, but oftentimes it doesn’t feel like it. She’s kind of just… my sister. o.O Really. She feels younger than me (though she is, but only by 8 minutes), and we’re way different. She gets along better with our step sister than me. They’re more likely to form a psychic bond.
My favorite is number 5. Why is this one not being talked about more? That is freaking eerie.
(it’s also probably the one I’m going to look deeper into)
47. Kathleen - September 10th, 2008 at 6:47 pm
Just wondering… how can those conjoined twins have children of each their own? They share the same body… Does that mean the guys that are dating them have to have sex with the same body?
48. nellerbear - September 10th, 2008 at 9:25 pm
I’m an identical twin, and we seem to have had some odd things happen with taht, we actually had Idioglossia (twin language) when we were young and were studied by a university and we had to see a speech therapist until we were 6. We are also both type 1 diabetics and were diagnosed at the same time on the same day when we were 9, and a person had our blood sent to a California research facility to have it studied.
The coolest/weirdest thing though I think people should know is that if my sister and I have children, they will genetically be half siblings, and if we were to marry identical male twins, our children would genetically be full siblings.
49. Mav - September 11th, 2008 at 2:54 am
Very Very Interesting read.
50. Cedestra - September 11th, 2008 at 8:49 am
48. That’s a good point! I never actually thought about it that way.
Twins, multiple births, and birth defects have always fascinated me. Just one tiny nudge genetically and everything goes completely differently than expected. I’m writing a list for here involving birth defects; I’ve been working on it for a while, so I’m not sure when it will be done.
Great list, Blogball. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well written and put together.
51. Blogball - September 11th, 2008 at 9:12 am
Thanks Cedestra, I had a good time researching all of these.
There are many more interesting facts to these stories but I always like to keep my descriptions fairly short for people with short attention spans like me.
Just to add one more thing about #1. The triplets I referred to that were reunited actually played triplets on some TV shows. Unfortunately one ended up committing suicide.
Tahnks again for everyone’s comments.
52. The_Patient - September 11th, 2008 at 10:03 am
Very interesting list!
I find number 3 quite interesting, and Id heard of the conjoined twins before, and Id seen a programme about Abigail and Brittany. It was really cool and unique when they typed for example, one had control of one hand and the other twin had control of the other, yet they could type normally without stopping to think who should type what letter, put in the space etc. Very cool.
Also, Im a twin, I have a twin sister, Im 9 minutes older and shes about 4 inches taller than me!
But we can communicate to eachother with people with us not knowing what we are on about!
53. 5monkeys - September 11th, 2008 at 12:14 pm
I have twins and they realy do finish each others sentences, but other than that they are totaly different, I know the first question I asked when I found out they were twins was if they were conjoined or seperate. but I dont know what I would do with out them they are really smart and are in advanced classes and both just started playing clarinet and can play already, even though they have only had them one week. They were born in June so they are Gemini and are one min apart and were only three weeks early.

I’m not trying to be crass, but every time I read about the Hensel twins I think the same thing. What will their sexual relationships be like? Will both of them be able to experience it in full? Also, both of them have a brain which are probably wired differently so obviously one girl might not be attracted to the same kind of man… Does anybody know how this would work? It feels strange to ask…

Hmmm the experimental twins are fascinating! I wonder if when the study is published if it will be found that they enjoyed the same games, foods, etc. as children…that would be very interesting!

Cool list.
But I believe it’s Teun and not Tuen (Tuen is not a name in Dutch, while Teun is).

Great List!! very intereting. My wife has a twin sister (non identical). She usually “feels” some situations her sister goes through. They kindda feel each other periods, for example and recently, they even felt the pain of giving birth (they gave birth with a month of difference). In Mexico (where I’m from & live) it is believed that twins have supernatural powers. Even nowadays, a person is very careful in the way he treats a twin. It is believed that a twin can “give you the bad eye”. It also believed that is only one of the twins that can cause harm (the “bad” twin and the good one) . But it’s just popular culture & superstition.

The entry about The Psychic Twins (Linda and Terry Jamison) is incorrect. Their prediction
on national radio about 9/11 did include the date. They said “by 2002.” The Wikipedia article has left out numerous fascinating details about the twins.
They are considered by many to be the most documented psychics working today.
In fact, their website has a long list of their famous documented predictions dating back
over a decade. If you wish to learn more about these gifted sisters, check out their website at www.psychictwins.com.

Love how the world works. Mixed race twins…so interesting. Well, get the curly haired ones some Mixed Chicks hair products (www.mixedchicks.net/mcindex) and all will be fine.

Very cool list! I’ve got an identical twin sister and it annoys me so much when people come up to us and say “Omg, are you two twins?” (no, eejit we’re just freakishly similar) or “what’s it like being a twin?” - that really annoys me because i don’t know what it’s like NOT being a twin! (that’s what i always say back if someone asks!) me and Daisy, my twin, don’t have any ‘powers’ (lol) that i no of but if i’ve got a song in my head she will start singing it and vice versa.
Not many people say this but its very hard being an individual when you’re a twin - people think of us as ‘Daisy and Chloe’ not just ‘Chloe’. Sometimes I wish i wasn’t a twin just to see what it would be like or how I might act …but i soon get over it lol

Your jealousy is showing. The Psychic Twins are known around the world for their documented predictions. Their track record is staggering. They have proven the validity
of psi phenomena even in laboratory studies. Perhaps you should do some research before judging. The Jamison Twins are the only people to correctly predict the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks (on national radio) and actually have proof on tape. It is considered to be the greatest prophesy ever recorded.
