Top 10 Secret Societies
- Published August 27, 2007 - 175 Comments
Through history there have been many secret societies and conspiracy theories about those societies. This is a list of 10 of the most famous and popular secret societies or alleged secret societies.
1. Skull and Bones [Wikipedia]

Members of the Skull and Bones (George Bush is left of the clock) [1947]
The Order of Skull and Bones, a Yale University society, was originally known as the Brotherhood of Death. It is one of the oldest student secret societies in the United States. It was founded in 1832 and membership is open to an elite few. The society uses masonic inspired rituals to this day. Members meet every Thursday and Sunday of each week in a building they call the “Tomb”.
According to Judy Schiff, Chief Archivist at the Yale University Library, the names of the members were not kept secret until the 1970s, but the rituals always have been. Both of the Bush presidents were members of the society while studying at Yale, and a number of other members have gone on to great fame and fortune.
The society is surrounded by conspiracy theories; the most popular of which is probably the idea that the CIA was built on members from the group. The CIA released a statement in 2007 (coinciding with the popularity of the film The Good Shepherd) in which it denied that the group was an incubator for the CIA. You can read that document here.
2. Freemasons [Wikipedia]

Freemasons Annual Meeting [1992]
The Grand Masonic Lodge was created in 1717 when four small groups of lodges joined together. Membership levels were initially first and second degree, but in the 1750s this was expanded to create the third degree which caused a split in the group. When a person reaches the third degree, they are called a Master Mason.
Masons conduct their regular meetings in a ritualized style. This includes many references to architectural symbols such as the compass and square. They refer to God as “The Great Architect of the Universe”. The three degrees of Masonry are: 1: Entered Apprentice, this makes you a basic member of the group. 2: Fellow Craft, this is an intermediate degree in which you are meant to develop further knowledge of Masonry. 3: Master Mason, this degree is necessary for participating in most masonic activities. Some rites (such as the Scottish rite) list up to 33 degrees of membership.
Masons use signs and handshakes to gain admission to their meetings, as well as to identify themselves to other people who may be Masons. The signs and handshakes often differ from one jurisdiction to another and are often changed or updated. This protects the group from people finding out how to gain admission under false pretenses. Masons also wear stylized clothing based upon the clothing worn by stone masons from the middle ages. The most well known of these is the apron.
In order to become a Mason, you must generally be recommended by a current mason. In some cases you must be recommended three times before you can join. You have to be at least 18 years old and of sound mind. Many religions frown upon membership of the Masons, and the Roman Catholic Church forbids Catholics to join under pain of excommunication.
3. Rosicrucians [Wikipedia]

Secret Symbols of the Rosicrucians
The Rosicrucian order is generally believed to have been the idea of a group of German protestants in the 1600s when a series of three documents were published: Fama Fraternitatis Rosae Crucis, Confessio Fraternitatis, and The Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz anno 1459. The documents were so widely read and influential, that the historian Frances Yeats refers to the 17th century as the Rosicrucian Enlightenment. The first document tells the story of a mysterious alchemist (Christian Rosenkreuz) who travelled to various parts of the world gathering secret knowledge. The second document tells of a secret brotherhood of alchemists who were preparing to change the political and intellectual face of Europe. The third document describes the invitation of Christian Rosenkreuz to attend and assist at the “Chemical” wedding of a King and Queen in a castle of Miracles.
Current members of the Rosicrucian Order claim that its origins are far more ancient than these documents. The authors of the documents seemed to strongly favor Lutheranism and include condemnations of the Catholic Church. Rosicrucianism probably had an influence on Masonry and, in fact, the 18th degree of Scottish Rite Masonry is called the Knight of the Rose Croix (red cross).
There are a large number of Rosicrucian groups today – each claiming to be closely tied to the original. Of the two main divisions, one is a mix of Christianity with Rosicrucian principles, and the other is semi-Masonic. The Masonic type tend to also have degrees of membership.
4. Ordo Templis Orientis [Wikipedia]
The OTO (Order of the Temples of the East) is an organization that was originally modeled on Masonry but, under the leadership of the self-styled “Great Beast” Aleister Crowley, it took on the principles of his religious system called Thelema. Thelema is based around a single law: “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law, love is the law, love under the will” [1904]. Membership is based upon degrees of initiation and highly stylized rituals are used. The OTO currently claims over 3,000 members worldwide.
Crowley created a “Mass” for the OTO which is called the Gnostic Mass. Of the “Mass”, Crowley wrote:
“I resolved that my Ritual should celebrate the sublimity of the operation of universal forces without introducing disputable metaphysical theories. I would neither make nor imply any statement about nature which would not be endorsed by the most materialistic man of science. On the surface this may sound difficult; but in practice I found it perfectly simple to combine the most rigidly rational conceptions of phenomena with the most exalted and enthusiastic celebration of their sublimity.”
The ritual is very stylized and uses virgin priestesses, children, and priests. Many Ancient Egyptian God’s are invoked, as well as the Devil, and at one point the priestess performs a naked ritual.
5. Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn [Wikipedia]
The order of the Golden Dawn was created by Dr. William Robert Woodman, William Wynn Westcott, and Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers. All three were Freemasons and members of Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia (an organization with ties to Masonry). It is considered by many to be a forerunner of the Ordo Templi Orientis and a majority of modern Occult groups.
The belief system of the Golden Dawn is largely taken from Christian mysticism, Qabalah, Hermeticism, the religion of Ancient Egypt, Freemasonry, Alchemy, Theosophy, Magic, and Renaissance writings. William Yeats, and Aleister Crowly are two of the more famous members of the group.
The fundamental documents of the order are known as the Cipher Documents. These were translated into English using a cipher attributed to Johannes Trithemius. The documents are a series of 60 folios containing magic rituals. The basic structure of many of these rituals appear to originate with Rosicrucianism. There is a great deal of controversy surrounding the origins of these documents.
6. The Knights Templar [Wikipedia]
The Knights Templar (full name: The United Religious, Military and Masonic Orders of the Temple and of St John of Jerusalem, Palestine, Rhodes and Malta) is a modern off-shoot of Masonry and does not have a direct tie to the original Knights Templar – a religious military group formed in the 12th century. Members of the Masonic Knights Templar do not claim a direct connection to the medieval group, but merely a borrowing of ideas and symbols.
In order to become a member of this group, you must already be a Christian Master Mason. This organization is a distinct one, and is not just a higher degree of Masonry. Despite Freemasonry’s general disclaimer that no one Masonic organization claims a direct heritage to the medieval Knights Templar, certain degrees and orders are obviously patterned after the medieval Order. These are best described as “commemorative orders” or degrees. Nevertheless, in spite of the fraternity’s official disclaimers, some Masons, non-Masons, and even anti-Masons insist that certain Masonic rites or degrees originally had direct Templar influence.
7. The Illuminati [Wikipedia]

The Pyramid, an illuminati symbol
A movement of freethinkers that were the most radical offshoot of The Enlightenment — whose followers were given the name Illuminati (but who called themselves “Perfectibilists”) — was founded on May 1, 1776 in Ingolstadt (Upper Bavaria), by Jesuit-taught Adam Weishaupt. This group is now known as the Bavarian Illuminati. While it was not legally allowed to operate, many influential intellectuals and progressive politicians counted themselves as members. Even though there were some known Freemasons in the membership, it was not considered to be endorsed by Masonry. The fact that the Illuminati did not require a belief in a supreme being made them particularly popular amongst atheists. This, and the fact that most members were humanists, is the reason for the widespread belief that the Illuminati wants to overthrow organized religion.
Internal panic over the succession of a new leader, and government attempts to outlaw the group saw to it collapsing entirely in the late 1700s. Despite this, conspiracy theorists such as David Icke and Was Penre, have argued that the Bavarian Illuminati survived, possibly to this day, though very little reliable evidence can be found to support the idea that Weishaupt’s group survived into the 19th century. It has even been suggested that the Skull and Bones club is an American branch of the Illuminati.
Many people believe that the Illuminati is still operating and managing the main actions of the governments of the world. It is believed that they wish to create a One World Government based on humanist and atheist principles.
8. The Bilderberg Group [Wikipedia]
This group is slightly different from the others in that it does not have an official membership. It is the name given to a group of highly influential people who meet ever year in secrecy (and usually with strong military and government sponsored security). The topics discussed are kept secret. The structure of the meetings is that of a conference – usually held in five star hotels around the world. Attendance at the meeting is strictly by invitation only. The first meeting took place in 1954 at the Hotel Bilderberg in the Netherlands.
The original meeting was initiated by several people. Polish emigre and political adviser, Joseph Retinger, concerned about the growth of anti-Americanism in Western Europe, proposed an international conference at which leaders from European countries and the United States would be brought together with the aim of promoting understanding between the cultures of The United States of America and Western Europe.
Although the agenda and list of participants are openly available to the public, it is not clear that such details are disclosed by the group itself. Also, the contents of the meetings are kept secret and attendees pledge not to divulge what was discussed. The group’s stated justification for secrecy is that it enables people to speak freely without the need to carefully consider how every word might be interpreted by the mass media.
Needless to say, this group is constantly surrounded by controversy and conspiracy theories.
9. The Priory of Sion [Wikipedia]
After the publication of the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, a great deal of interest in the Priory of Sion has been created. Unfortunately for those hoping to find and join the Priory, it is, in fact, fictional. It was a hoax created in 1956 by a pretender to the French Throne, Pierre Plantard. Letters in existence dating from the 1960s written by Plantard, de Cherisey and de Sède to each other confirm that the three were engaging in an out-and-out confidence trick, describing schemes on how to combat criticisms of their various allegations and how they would make up new allegations to try to keep the whole thing going. Despite this, many people still continue to believe that the Priory exists and functions to this day.
The authors of the well known book, The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, misled by the hoax, stated:
1. The Priory of Sion has a long history starting in AD 1099, and had illustrious Grand Masters including Isaac Newton and Leonardo da Vinci.
2. The order protects certain royal claimants because they believe them to be the literal descendants of Jesus and his alleged wife Mary Magdalene or, at the very least, of king David.
3. The priory seeks the founding of a “Holy European Empire” that would become the next hyperpower and usher in a new world order of peace and prosperity.
10. Opus Dei [Wikipedia]

Ordination of Opus Dei Priests
Opus Dei is an organization of the Catholic Church that emphasizes the Catholic belief that everyone is called to holiness and that ordinary life is a path to sanctity. The celibate numeraries and numerary assistants live in special centers, while associates are celibate members living in their private homes. The order was founded in Spain in 1928 by Roman Catholic priest Josemaría Escrivá with the approval of Pope Pius XII.
When Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code was published, it claimed that Opus Dei was a secret organization within the Church whose aim was to defeat the Priory of Sion and those who seek to uncover the “truth” about Christianity and the alleged royal bloodline of Christ. Outside of the book, there has been a great deal of controversy over Opus Dei because of the strictness of its religious structure.
The Catholic Church forbids secret societies and membership in them, and Opus Dei investigators have frequently debunked claims that this organization is acting in secrecy to further a sinister agenda.

great post!
So basically most of these groups are masons. I once heard they were luciferians…. scary shit!
August 27th, 2007 at 12:47 pm
El Culebro: yeah – I have heard of most of these groups but it is really interesting to see how many did have their origins with the freemasons
August 27th, 2007 at 12:50 pm
man this was interesting good list. these societies remind me of fraternities that became “secret”
August 27th, 2007 at 1:00 pm
joshward: thanks. There are a lot of fraternities that are now secret so I didn’t include them – that will be another list in the future
August 28th, 2007 at 1:55 am
Scientology have too many lists already???
August 28th, 2007 at 2:08 am
Crimanon: I am not sure if there could ever be too many scientology lists
I am thinking of doing a list of the founders of some of the more modern religious sects in Christianity – seeing as I haven’t really touched on Christianity as yet.

Interesting list!
I’ve read in several places that many Masonic lodges don’t require recommendation by another member; all you have to do is express interest in joining. It’s possible that policy is a recent development because of declining membership.
My favorite, of course, is the Stonecutters from the Simpsons: http://youtube.com/watch?v=n-cCfZrkCFI
Also, artist Matthew Barney did a recorded performance/installation piece exploring Masonic themes:

Laura: thanks
It is interesting that they don’t require recommendations any longer. I guess as the old members die and young ones lack interest in what they have to offer they have to do anything they can to get more people in the door. Thanks for the links too – very interesting (and amusing, in the case of the Simpsons – I remember seeing that episode).

You hear about that tasering at the John Kerry rally/thing? The kid asked John Kerry if he was a member of Skull and Bones. I wouldn’t have known what that was had I not read this list earlier, thanks jfrater!
September 22nd, 2007 at 12:59 am
Brian Moo: that is excellent! I am glad that my lists have been useful so far
October 20th, 2007 at 10:53 am
When joining the masons, it is true that you can express interest in joining. However, there is still an interview process at which time you will become “recommended” if the Lodge decides you will make a good member. Much of the mysticism around Masonry is hype. There are also several women’s groups, and at least four youth groups that are Masonic affiliated, all with messages of service and respect. They are all “secret” in the sense that you have to be an affiliated member to sit in on closed meetings, yet almost all of the ritual work is available through the public library system.

Opus Dei is not a secret society by far. Actually, in Spain is very easy to become a member. You just need a good economic position.
October 21st, 2007 at 3:28 am
Rec: If you re-read what I wrote about Opus Dei, I only included it because of the Da Vinci code misleading people – I pointed out that the Catholic Church forbids secret societies and Opus Dei is not a secret society.
October 22nd, 2007 at 3:38 am
I think you will find that Opus Dei are very open about a very few ‘good’ things but very secretive about a lot of other important things. We only ever hear from Super Numeraries, never Numeraries who are the financial backbone of the organization.
October 22nd, 2007 at 4:36 am
Frank: are the numeraries a part of the order itself or just financial backers from outside?
October 22nd, 2007 at 3:40 pm
Numeraries are ‘Full members’ if you will. They live a centers run by opus dei, housing around 7-12 Numeraries at a time. Numeraries take vows to live the spirit of OD, once a year (on the feast of St. Joseph) and also have a quota to meet in recruiting at least 4 new Numeraries a year, plus a whole lot of other things.
Numeraries are not Priests, Monks, Brothers, Nuns ect, they are average laymen who work and give all their earnings back to Opus Dei. There are reports of about 20-30K Numeraries all over the world, you do the Math…they also get financial benefits through Governments when building schools and study centers for young boys and girls who are targeted at a very young age depending on their ‘potential’. Because the Catholic Church does not have cults, their behavior is very ‘cultish’ and in some cases, quite bizarre. I feel so sorry for Numeraries who have been brainwashed into Opus Dei.
Just to clarify, Opus Dei is not an order, but they do have priests (most of the time former Numeraries) who give spiritual Direction to the Numeraries.
The best way to explain Opus Dei is as a ‘Lay Movement’, very much within the ’spirit of Vatican II’, the Ecumenical Council of the Catholic Church from 1962-1965, which has left many Catholics dissatisfied in the directions the Church has taken since then, and of which Opus Dei has benefitted greatly.
November 16th, 2007 at 4:39 am
I wish to join this cult but i want to know the rules before joining
I will be glad if the rules will be giving to me
November 16th, 2007 at 2:42 pm
Opus Dei make up the rules as they go along, what is kosher one day will be forbidden the next.
The main rule is to live the spirit of Opus Dei.
November 29th, 2007 at 9:27 am
i find all of this interesting by why are fictional societies and groups [opus dei] that technically arnt secret societies on there? i would like to know about others that are secret. is there anything on voodoo? or mayb the mafia?
November 29th, 2007 at 9:38 am
Adarin: Opus Dei is considered by many to be secret – as you can see by some of the comments above – while I do not consider them to be so, and their organization claims not to be so, many people think they are (partly thanks to the moron that wrote the Da Vinci Code) – this seemed like a good list to clear up that myth. For your information, I am thinking of doing a top 10 occult societies soon – that might be more interesting for you.
December 22nd, 2007 at 7:12 am
can you really have a list of ’secret’ societies? Doesn’t to publish it on the internet for general viewing and knowledge kinda mean they aren’t secret?
December 23rd, 2007 at 11:24 am
i want to ask u people about life protaction if is posiable for me to be protacted
February 20th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
they are bit of a scary..
its very important to believe in our one and only creator
and that is GOD
February 20th, 2008 at 10:51 pm
Amai: I think by “secret”, they mean that not all of their practices are revealed – not that the group in question is undiscovered.
February 24th, 2008 at 10:20 am

April 17th, 2008 at 4:37 am
Lucifer according to ancient mystical teachings is a neccessary evil. This is taught in secret societies and is open to misinterpretation. after life is death when it is lucifer who takes up up the first part of our journey on the way up and it is commonly believed among these societties that it is lucifer brings us back to the world after death for our new life. Apparently it all started at the building of the sphinx when we lost our (3rd)eye and materialistic views were cast in stone and guarded by sphinxy. bring back the vegetable state and common thought. answers and more info at …………..(let your journey commence and good luck on your journey)

Can woman be masons too?
May 3rd, 2008 at 6:10 am
Please, I have been longing to join a strong secret society in Nigeria, but I am having seroius problem in someone introducing me to a Lodge, Amorc, Freemason, or any other ways of acquiring wealth, Please, I am really 100% eager to be introduced to any of the societies you know best here in Nigeria for my membership, Please I am counting on you for immediate reply, What shall I do to be rich? I want to know, because I am into mysticism, Reply now, thanks, Moses.
May 3rd, 2008 at 6:31 am
Moses: I suggest you get a good book on investment – that is how you will be rich – not by joining the Masons or other secret societies
warningdontreadthis: I don’t believe they can.
May 28th, 2008 at 9:28 am
Hallo Moses.
You do not join a secret society, to get wealth or to be rich, NO that is not the way to do it.
You join a secret society because it came from with in you. Your hart and soul must be in it. NOT wealth !!
June 16th, 2008 at 3:51 am
I need to be introduced to a secret society where i can get rich and be able to fight poverty which has been eating up my family and I.Please notify me and save me from commiting sucide..
June 16th, 2008 at 3:56 am
what are benefits of people that joined the 10 top secret society. if i wish to join one what does it take to join? how fast can i my request be granted? reply needed urgently. thanks.
June 16th, 2008 at 4:23 am
Chris: I think the best solution for you is to get out and get a job. Working is a great way to beat poverty. Secret societies won’t help you. Especially as they tend to be mostly wealthy people to start with. The same goes for you mediator – I wouldn’t bother trying to get in to one – there is little to gain that you can’t get at a local YMCA
June 18th, 2008 at 2:05 am
Thanks for your advise jfrater but i insist is difficult getting a job that can take care of poverty in a situation that they family will be exited, sometimes, when there is a job, maybe qualifications will disallow you to get employed and you can not blam yourself or your family for not having enough money to put you up in a sound academy that can acquire some sound certificates.I dont want to argue on your advice but then,i`ve not got any job that can really help me out of this bondage. What do i do now or how can i flee from the said opoverty..
June 18th, 2008 at 4:10 am
Chris: if your family is starving to death – you will find a job that will help them survive. Offer to work for half the minimum wage – or for free for the first month – eventually someone will give you a job and your problems are over. All we should need is food in our mouths and a roof over our head. Not having a TV is not poverty.
June 19th, 2008 at 2:03 am
jfrater, thanks for ur words.please can u help me in getting a job? I am ready to offer a free starting or a very low fee as long as the job will be a bit ok to earn good living in the future(ie when they start paying).I can read and write english and french and as well very fluent in speaking.I have my senior school certificate and no other qaulifications. Please let me know if you find me a job.I believe i can make it as i`m trying to abide with your words.I have tried locally on my own but i could not get any.Permit me to say thank you in advance….
July 1st, 2008 at 5:44 am
How can one join this Freemasons?
Can somebody join from Nigeria? or do they have a base here?
July 3rd, 2008 at 10:27 am
i am sick and tired of this unending preaching, advice and discouragement. i have had enough of it b/4 now. i made up my mind to get into society or better still into satan. this will enable me see both sides and choose between them. i though the need for establishing both open and secret societies is to let people who care to blong, join in their own best decision. you have been busy tell people about this and that organisations without giving them link to it. it is not call for. it is injustice honestly. i want join, simplly let me know the way to good one. i will be greatful. if don’t want to say it generally, u can reach me personally through my email address. i am very optimistic that u will get back to favourablly, thanks.
July 3rd, 2008 at 12:21 pm
How can one join this Freemasons? Certainly, it too they :
secrethelp.org
July 3rd, 2008 at 8:20 pm
i need your helpi w3ant to be wealthy
July 3rd, 2008 at 8:30 pm
Chris: I live in New Zealand and do not own a company – so I can’t help you get a job – I recommend trying at any local company where you live and offer to work for free for 3 months to show that you are dedicated to working – they might then offer you a full time job.
frank: As I have said numerous times on this list – if you get a job and work hard, you can become wealthy. No one gets rich quick – no one gets rich because of asking for money on a website.
July 3rd, 2008 at 8:31 pm
As an aside: where are these people coming from? All of the recent comments have been from people asking for help to get wealthy!
July 4th, 2008 at 12:40 am
Thanks jfrater,i wish i could get one here but its imposible and i have decided to join a secret society to enable me become more spiritual in all my endevours unless u choose to get me ajob in where u live.I have gone to eckankar for enquires, also to amorc but i wasrefused interancewhen i get to freemanson.I saw their hall in accra Ghana

93 all,
If ur looking for power, try the electric company. Most of these posts have missed the point. Almost all of these orgs deal w/ the transmission of wisdom and knowledge in the ‘mystery school’ tradition through degree work, or rituals if you prefer. I would highly recommend the O.T.O., or perhaps the Freemasons, if your looking to join. Find your local lodge, attend a gnostic mass with an open mind, ask lots of questions after. If it’s not ur thing, don’t go anymore. STAY AWAY from the conspircy nuts. If you want to believe the crap they peddle, fine. Perhaps they’ll tell you how to fashion a tin foil hat so government spys can’t read ur thoughts.
Best…

eh, Yes the Opus Dei is a secret society! oO The one every joe nobody can join is not quite the same as the real back bone. The Opus Dei might be the only real evil society in this list. You do know that the Opus Dei owns the Vatican?
* While the DaVinci code is a load of shit the author had to get is ideas somewhere.
* Scientologist also have secrets well hidden once you reach a certain “level”
Hint: The Opus Dei uses the same means then the CIA to recruit University students that have a promising future.
.. and to everyone who commented that they wanted to join a secret society, thank you! You made me lol.. But now, thinking about it, it’s kind of sad..
* the Golden Dawn is dead so you might want to update your list with current “secret societies”.
HAIL XENU!
Oh! And members of the skull don’t hide the fact that they are members, it’s what is happening behind closed door that remains secret. Clinton was and everyone knows..

whats with all the scammer-style comments?
weird
November 17th, 2008 at 8:25 pm
trap hat tit man: for some reason this list attracts some very bizarre comments. It is quite amazing how many comments like 73 above (Nigerians) we have deleted. I suspect that they have the same motivation as the nigerian email spammers – trying to make money for nothing.
November 18th, 2008 at 12:53 pm
i want to be amember of your secret society am ready to do any thing.
November 20th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
The Golden Dawn isn’t dead, but finding other members can be difficult.
November 21st, 2008 at 10:24 pm
Thank God there are still Christians! Scary that all these secret organizations are going to help take over the world when Lucifier reigns! Believe in God, know God.
November 21st, 2008 at 10:26 pm
Yes-they will take over with the coming reign of the Crowned and Conquering Child.

Osei Sarpong is probably works for a secret society! We’re not all that ignorrant you idiot!
November 21st, 2008 at 11:21 pm
This is one of the weirdest comment lists I have ever seen on Listverse. I am also surprised that JF himself answered quite a few of these totally irrelevant comments. Maybe everyone is pretending to be a part of a secret society.
Guess what? If you really were, you wouldn’t be posting on this site.
November 22nd, 2008 at 8:37 pm
The scariest secret society is the one we don’t even know exists.

I too search for a society that follows what i feel inside. but it seems so many folk look strictly for personal gain from these societies which i believe is a narrow view of the big picture. it seems events are escalating and for what reasons? most would feel best to believe it is the acts of government, politicians or by pure coincidence, but it seems a very naive perspective to me. why is it that we have only answers or lack there of from our governments and elected officials and the source of the monetary movement is never questioned nor is the system that we all belong to world wide even understood by the majority of the population. I truly feel we are here as one, each and every soul for a purpose whether perceived good or bad by any individual or group. and we all belong. this beautiful planet of ours has the capacity to house, feed, and sustain a wonderful experience for all souls on earth, but it seems it is poorly managed by greed, and control, with little concern for the planet or the individuals that live here. when it all boils down we give the powers to be our support by accepting it. I would be glad to hear from any free thinkers that rely on first hand information from within as apposed to the secondary information we as humans are bombarded by in this time of our experience.
December 16th, 2008 at 4:03 pm
I work in a photolab and the other day I developed photos of the Women’s Freemasons’ lunch. It consisted of lots of cheques given by banks to fund the Freemasons, but the woman who collected the photos was just a normal woman, telling me about her grandson…weird…
December 17th, 2008 at 10:49 am
iffy2good- well, I had to read thru all the others to get to someone who spoke with any sense. I agree with what you say. it is concerning to me that so many are looking to the “secret” societies to engage in self-gains with little purpose. We have so much more to offer, don’t we ( we being man in general). call me crazy, I’d rather be part of a society that searched for truth and encouraged good will. Perhaps I should become a druid.

February 2nd, 2009 at 1:54 am
No, The Freemasons are not Luciferian. The story behind that is to long to explain in this blog. Everything is taken out of context by people claiming to know what goes on behind their doors. Half of what you will find online is bulls*it!
February 2nd, 2009 at 3:47 pm
There are 2 groups missing of this list and they are the most important, probably THEE most important , but due to there highly secretive nature nothing is on them.
None of them are women they are too emotional and cant keep there mouth shut when angry or when have pmt, its just the way things are.
They have nothing to do with masons or splinters of his sub standard group.
Nothing to do with the devil or hell or any of that crap, that is for scaring people and like religion keeping people at bay, not letting them get on with life…I mean what god produces an animal with sexual organs and makes them not use it, to become celibate, because its the correct way to worship or live!! or says that killing someone will put you in heaven with a 100 virgins…for brain washing small minded individuals… anyway back to these groups…
one of them is from Japan or eastern Asian, kind of like the yakuza but not into violence, and the other, well no know country of origin… put it this way where do you think all the trillions of missing money goes, in years like this and every 10…yes some goes to businessmen and to Switzerland and Lichtenstein but most to these Ultra intelligent people probably scientists…eh sorry I have to go I will be back later on to finish off

Opus Dei is hardly a secret society, it has never tried to cover it self up and is the popular choice of many christians. not exactly the actions of a secret society
May 20th, 2009 at 2:56 am
I’ve got to agree with Secret 44 here- Opus Dei openly evangelizes and recruits on my university campus. All you have to do to join is express interest in doing so. In addition, I (oddly) have multiple friends that grew up in Opus Dei households. While they are strange in so far that most really, really, conservative Catholics are, they are pretty normal- no crazy secret society hijinks. It’s just a way to practice Catholicism. And, as much as I would like to say otherwise, Opus Dei doesn’t really seem all that cult-like, seeing as I know several people who have left it without any issues. They are now just regular conservative Catholics.

the struggle btw truth and falsehood is everlasting one.those who claim to have with them holy books read to us that satan in the quest to mislead mankind and reign supreme would not stop but to achieve dis aim.In order to make dis come to reality,he has set up agents who would champion the cause and they have vowed to defend it to the last. However, its difficult to find who are on other party that is the forebearers of truth who also are fighting hard to unveil falsehood and disgrace the devil and his cohoris who have dominated every facets of human endeavors.THE ONLY CONSTANT THING IN LIFE TRUTH,NO MATTER LONG U UPHOLD FALSEHOOD,ITS AN ILLUSION AND LIKE EVERY ILLUSION IT SI BY ITS NATURE BOUND TO PERISH AND VANISH.History has made known to us that its gonna be like that,mt only fear and question are- ARE WE NOT GOING TO PERISH WITH FALSEHOOD????????? “CHOOSE FREEDOM,BE A MONOTHEIST”

The Illuminati started of as The Knight Templars. This person hasn’t done his research.
The Freemasons are not a secret society, they have website and such where you can join. But you need to know 1 or in some cases 10 Freemasons to join the “society”.
I am a member of the first group I mentioned. Be weary, joining these groups can be dangerous.

Joining these groups is not a joke. You don not join for you to become rich or powerful. These groups select you if you are worthy to to be one of them.
DO NOT JOIN THESE GROUPS IF YOU THINK IF YOU HAVE SELF INTERESTS. IT WILL JUST DISAPPOINT YOU. WE KNOW WHO ARE WORTHY OR NOT.
I am a 33degree Freemason, a Rosicrucian.

Did anyone else hear the Fifth trumpet of God Almighty sound when oil wells were lit ablaze during “Operation Desert Storm”?
During the Gulf War when all the oil wells were lit ablaze I was attacked by a demon on three separate occasions all at night. This is what happened. While I slept this demon would fly through the window and attack me. The spirit inside me fought this demon briefly until I awoke. Then it made me take over. I leaped out of bed trying to defend myself. This demon was horrid and spun circles around me thrashing through my soul with his hands. then it left as fast as it came. The demon radiated from the pains associated with the abyss. He was like a coal pulled from the fire, with the pains of the abyss Rev 9, 3. This attack happened on three separate occasions as I have stated. The third time however was different from the rest. As before the demon attacked me, but this time I had enough since to command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. What happened next is even more amazing. After commanding this demon to leave in the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit delivered me outside my room into the hallway. The demon followed. We were brought into the presence of the Lord. The Demon stood to my left and grabbing my hand with his, it placed its tail on top of my left hand. It was the sting of the scorpion and it went like this. It sent waves of fire through my soul Rev 9, 10. The pain was so sever that I couldn’t scream. Unconditionally, I looked straight up and said “father please help me”. The demon then left.
This all happened after being seduced into trying transcendental meditation and falling into spiritual bondage to witchcraft / demonic forces Rev 13,10. Or the spiritual bondage may have occurred after playing a Ouija board as a young boy. I’m not quite sure. What I am sure is that prior to being attacked by this demon, I was forced to go through the N.W.O’s. “secret” ceremony performed through transcendental meditation assisted with witchcraft / demonic forces. Why I say demonic forces is that I believe all witchcraft to be the powers of demons / the Devil. I was forced with witchcraft, through methods of torture, to go through said ceremony. The methods of witchcraft included mind control / manipulation, heart palpitations, witchcraft dreams causing sleep depravation, powerful visions, and many other forms. In said ceremony I was instructed to except the worship of one of their many “demonic gods”. They informed me that in excepting one of there gods I accepted them all. One of there Gods was the Devil, another they named Jesus, but they had a demon for every occasion. What better way to join all religions of the world together under one banner of 666?
To the best of my knowledge this is the method Satan’s Secret Society uses to distribute the “spiritual mark of the beast”, and cause spiritual captivity Revelation 13, 10. Have you received your spiritual mark yet? This may sound hard to believe for those who don’t know what I’m talking about but it is a true story. Hear are a few scriptures giving in sight. Revelation 13, 10, If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go . This is spiritual captivity to witchcraft / demonic forces. Naham 3, 4, who enslaved nations by her witchcraft. Revelation 18, 23, By your magic spell all nations were led astray.
There is a way out, but it is difficult. Revelation 12, 11, those who overcame, overcame by the blood of the lamb and the “word” of their testimony. They didn’t love their own lives so much as to shrink from death. Hebrews 2, 15, by their fear of death they are held in spiritual captivity. Satan’s Secret Society has many names; a few are the Mafia / Illuminate Masons 666! Have they been using drug dealers to terrorize your neighbor hood? Christians are their many “Free” Masons and Shriner’s in your Christian church? I’m sure they are in all walks of life and the cancer is spreading through out society.
Here is the rest of the story. Three to four nights later the demon returned in the early am @ about 3am. He wasn’t alone, Satan / Apollyon and the demon’s twin brother was with him. They hovered in the air above the ground, before the olive tree in the back yard. I could see them as the spirit in me manifested them to me! Satan hovered in the middle while the demons were on either side of him. The demon on his left had been thrown into the lake of fire for what he did to me. He radiated like a coal pulled from the fire what seemed to be 15′x15′. He was lit up like a Christmas tree! Graciously yours baptized by fire the witness! Who will believe this testimony? God will be my witness!

Is Revelations 13, 10 referring to Satan’s Secret society and spiritual captivity to Witchcraft?
Has the N.W.O. / Nazis Within the Order with its many branches, such as the “Free” Masons / Shriner’s / Mafia / New Age Movement just to name a few, distributed occult paraphernalia into society to cause spiritual bondage / captivity to witchcraft? Is this how the N.W.O. places people into spiritually captivity Rev 13, 10? Are Games such as Ouija boards, tarot cards, even the “8″ ball with its pyramid in the middle, forms of (divination)? Could role playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons be another method used to take people into captivity? Is magic art a method to lead victims into spiritual bondage, (which is the precursor to Transcendental Meditation, the secret ceremony used for distributing the “Spiritual Mark of the Beast”)? Has Harry Potter witchcraft books been distributed into society to lure people away from God and take them spiritually captive to witchcraft? Deuteronomy 18, 9 strictly forbids these practices.
Is it by spiritual captivity caused from these “games” / practices that people / victims are forced with witchcraft to go through the “secret ceremony” performed with transcendental meditation? In said transcendental meditation state, the victims are forced to except the worship of one of “Satan’s Secret Society’s” many “Gods”. They say that in accepting the worship of one you accept “all” there “Gods”. These are no Gods at all but demonic entities, one including the Devil! Is this the powerful delusion spoken of in the Bible 2 Thessalonians 11, and the method for enslaving society through means of witchcraft / demonic powers? Here are a few verses giving insight. “Those who go into captivity into captivity they will go” Rev 13, 10. “Who enslaved nations by her witchcraft” Nahum 3, 4. “By your magic spell all nations were led astray” Rev 18, 23.
There is a way out!!! “Those who overcame, overcame by the blood of the lamb and the “WORD” of their testimony, they didn’t love there own life’s so much as to shrink from death”. “This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints” Rev 12, 11. Witchcraft / the powers of the Devil are real Job 2, 7. Are you aware that “the martyrs for Christ who don’t receive, what I believe to be, the “spiritual mark of the Beast” will come to life and reign with Christ for 1000 years during the millennium” Rev.20, 4? Would you trade a short life on earth for a 1000 year reign with Jesus Christ, and then so much more? Amen Brothers and sisters!!! You no who you are!
Also, are you aware that this society has been in the process of being set up for a long time under the totalitarian / evil rule of the Devil! Look up George Washington / Free Masons and the location of the Whitehouse and associated government buildings. This is just one of many examples. NWO / “Free” Mason symbolism has been distributed across the land. Satan and his followers are quite boastful. The Devil has been preparing for the coming tribulation for quite some time, when God will give him authority along with the Beast for 42 months of living HELL! And we thought Hitler was bad!

all the above are not secret society’s, for if they were no one would know of them except for those few chosen to be in them. just like the bible and the koran and every other religion on earth today, all these stories are thousands of years old handed down, written and re written by man who make mistakes, exaggerate truth for their own personal greed’s and power. secret society’s and religion are at war with each other, they are all dividing us as a race. if you want to know the truth look deep within yourself. study your mind and the natural world around you. do this and the great truth of all things shall be revealed.

I don’t want to be a member of a secret society for wealth.
But I would definitely join if there was access to literature that I have not seen before that told the TRUTH of our past. I wonder if the Bible I have read is actually what was originally written or just edited by someone who was instructed to do so.
If anyone knows of a book or website that told a different and convincing description of our biblical past I would appreciate it if you could post it.
